   I have had a great stay here in the past. However, 1 week before the cancellation window I asked to modify my reservation from 6 nights to 2 nights. The staff claimed they were happy to do this, but after my stay they still charged me for 6 nights. They won’t respond to my messages anymore and I will be disputing this charge for fraud

   Please, if you’re traveling and care about your safety at all, DO NOT stay here. I am literally writing this because I don’t want anyone else to end up in the dangerous situation my friends and I were just in. The biggest issue is that this place is a massive safety hazard. They claim on their listing that they check IDs and have security, but that is a total lie. They don't vet anyone. Because of their negligence, I ended up in a room with an unvetted, untrustworthy person who was a criminal. I was there with two other girls, and we felt so incredibly unsafe. When the three of us went to the front desk to tell them we were scared to be in a room with this person, the woman working there was the opposite of helpful. She didn't show an ounce of empathy but got aggressive with us for even bringing it up. It was absolutely terrifying to realize that the people running the place dont what so ever prioritize an ounce of your well being. Most of the time, there’s nobody working at the desk anyway, and the front door is just left open, so pretty much anyone can just walk in off the street whenever they want. It’s a total free for all. On top of the safety being non existent, everything else in the listing is fake too: No Free Breakfast: It’s listed as included, but there’s nothing. No Towels: Don’t expect basic necessities; they don't provide them. The Showers: They’re completely broken. You either get 100% ice-cold water or 100% boiling hot water. I’m not even kidding, the hot water is enough to boil an egg. I’m honestly so shaken up by this stay. I’m currently disputing the $127 I paid because this wasn't just a "bad hostel" but was a complete breach of safety. Please, save yourself the stress and the risk and stay literally anywhere else.    People need to know - there is no staff here!!! Everything is self-service. I guess you get what you pay for. I didn't have any linens and didn't receive instructions or notice about where they were. Was I supposed to pay extra for that? The door to the property was open multiple times when I arrived, and there is no lock or key to the women's only room. A man was using that section's restroom. Like I said, you get what you pay for, so I can't be too mad I guess.

   Boa localização e cama confortável ABSURDO! O atendimento é péssimo e completamente desorganizado. Não existe recepção; a porta fica trancada e todas as orientações chegam apenas por mensagem. Os hóspedes precisam se ajudar, pois muitas vezes nem conseguem abrir a porta. O pior de tudo: entraram no quarto, REMOVERAM MINHAS COISAS DA MINHA CAMA, SEM PERMISSÃO E SEM EU ESTAR PRESENTE, porque decidiram me mudar de quarto sem aviso. O mesmo já havia acontecido com outros dois hóspedes e suspeitamos de overbook. A cama é boa e a localização também, mas o atendimento é simplesmente inaceitável. English OUTRAGEOUS! La atención es pésima y completamente desorganizada. No existe recepción; la puerta permanece cerrada y todas las instrucciones llegan solo por mensaje. Los huéspedes tienen que ayudarse entre sí porque muchas veces ni siquiera pueden abrir la puerta. Lo peor de todo: entraron en la habitación y RETIRARON MIS PERTENENCIAS DE MI CAMA SIN PERMISO Y SIN MI PRESENCIA, porque decidieron cambiarme de cuarto sin avisar.    FOR YOUR SAFETY. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Specially if you’re a girl… THE OWNER GOT SHITFSCED DRUNK AND PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED US. On top of other things I don’t feel safe or comfortable sharing here. It was 7 of us, in the street waiting for the police who never showed up. Literally something that would only happen in movies. 2 am in the morning, owner literally punching one of the guests, no police, he kicked one of the guys out and left. We called the police several times and they never showed up!!!! Worst experience ever. DO NOT STAY HERE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY!

   Do NOT book here. I have never felt more unsafe in my life. Staff was nice, location was ok, bathrooms were clean. However, the OWNER of this hostel got shitfaced drunk and got extremely aggressive to the guest (group of 7 tourists) he physically assaulted us, kicked one of them out at 2 am in the morning and literally called us names and got EXTREMELY aggressive. He might also be onto some sketchy shit Im not comfortable speaking about here. For your safety DONT book here. We called the police

   DO NOT STAY HERE For your own wellbeing, please book a different place. I’ve never seen someone so rude and aggressive as this owner, especially given the scenario. We arrived at 7am expecting to be able to get in because the Hostelworld site says 24 hour security. In reality, we showed up to a locked door that nobody would answer when we rang the doorbell. We texted the owner on WhatsApp asking if there was a door code and he said we aren’t allowed inside the lobby until 9am and to not ring the doorbell. He then repeatedly called me until I picked up and he was very aggressive over the phone. He told me to leave the property immediately and that he was calling the police on me because I rang the doorbell at 7am and it might have disrupted people. He cancelled our stay immediately without the ability to have a discussion about it at all and said if we don’t leave we will be arrested. Please please please do not stay here

   WORST HOSTEL EXPERIENCE YET — AVOID We arrived early in the morning due to our flight (7am) and when we got to the door there was no one to let us in to drop our bags - this was okay but when we contacted the hostel the owner started yelling at us and threatened to call the police because we rang the doorbell before 9am…. He cancelled our booking for that night immediately and we had to find a new place. Owner is very agressive - I would avoid this place entirely. We walked a few blocks to another hostel and were greeted immediately and they gave us a place to store our bags.

    Do not stay here! I cannot emphasize this enough – stay away from this place. The security is extremely poor, and the private rooms are nothing more than glorified garden sheds with zero heating or air conditioning. The bathrooms are filthy, and the place bears no resemblance to the polished photos you see on Hostelworld. I checked out immediately and requested a refund, only to be met with an abusive response from the owner. Not only did he hurl insults at me, but he also made racist comments. As if that wasn’t bad enough, he went ahead and illegally charged my card three additional times using the details he had on file. Thankfully, my bank quickly refunded me, but that doesn’t change the fact that this was an incredibly shady experience. Before you even think about staying here, I encourage you to read the owner’s responses to other negative reviews. They’ll give you a pretty good idea of the kind of person you’re dealing with. And don’t be fooled by all the glowing reviews – he’s known to offer free shots in exchange for positive feedback. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to stay.

    I arrived in the middle of the night and booked a private room (€60). There was no blanket and it was freezing. So I had a terrible night. The next morning I texted the owner, and he brought a blanket right away. Apparently someone took the blanket (the door was wide open, so it was easy to take). He told me I can text him in the middle of the night, which he could've told me beforehand, since I was arriving late. He didn't give me a discount, which would've been the decent thing to do, since the room was not in a state where one could sleep. I had mixed feelings about my stay here, however a month later my partner booked a dorm bed with this hostel. After a 15 hour flight he found out his dorm bed got cancelled. When contacting the owner he wrote a 2 sentence email: yes, hostelworld cancelled it. We're full. No help in finding another place, looking for a solution.. nothing. Hostelworld doesn't cancel reservations (after payment), so he probably sold the bed for a better price. Now the mixed feelings/benefit of the doubt have changed: never again.

    Nothing. Unsafe hostel with drunk and aggressive staff around. We got kicked out when we asked about the loud noise during the quiet hours. Day 1: Upon check-in, I noticed that one of the two owners was already clearly intoxicated, drinking vodka with two friends in the common area. His behavior was strange at times, and he made inappropriate sexual jokes. The hostel has a rule stating that the common area should be quiet from 11 PM to 8 AM, but when I returned later that night, drinking and loud music were still ongoing, with people shouting until 3 AM. Although this was uncomfortable, I decided not to say anything, as noise can occasionally happen in hostels. Day 2: That evening, we returned to the hostel and went straight to our room. Right outside, in the common area, a group of people (apparently friends of the owners) was gathered, making a lot of noise and playing loud music. It was so loud that it felt like the party was happening inside our room. Around 11:30 PM, I decided to message the owner to ask how long this would go on and if the volume could be lowered, especially since the rules state it should be quiet after 11 PM. Additionally, we felt uncomfortable with unknown guests who weren’t staying at the hostel being present. The owner responded via WhatsApp, saying he wouldn’t ask anyone to leave and that the music would continue. Shortly after, he knocked on our door and partially entered when I opened it. He immediately acted very aggressively, insisting that he alone would decide who could be in the hostel and how long noise was allowed. He then demanded that I immediately hand over my key and told us to leave on the spot, without letting us pack our belongings. He was drunk and aggressive. I tried to calm him down and suggested we discuss this reasonably, but he only grew angrier, started shouting insults, and threatened to call the police to have me detained. Meanwhile, he stepped further into our room, where my girlfriend was in bed. We both felt extremely unsafe and afraid of what might happen next.

    DO NOT choose this hostel. I arrived at 14:15 with the knowledge that check-in was at 15:00 per the reservation. The door was locked and there was no way to enter. I called the number on Hostelworld. I stated to the man that I had a reservation. He said check-in wasn’t until after 17:00. I said that the reservation said 15:00. He said “Fine then. After 3.” I said that’s fine. Then he called me and messaged me stating that Hostelworld cancelled my reservation. I said that couldn’t be the case because it was still showing up on my app and I never received an email. He said he’d email me the information. I never received the information. I called back and he was extremely rude to me and unwilling to help and see if there was a miscommunication in which reservation. After sending him my email, I finally received the cancellation information from him (not from Hostelworld). The screenshot showed that my reservation was cancelled at the time of the most recent phone call and not at the one from 14:15. He also sent me a screenshot of someone else’s credit card information showing it was refunded to that card. Not mine. I haven’t received my refund yet. Based off of my first interaction I could tell that he wasn’t suitable for hospitality. I’m genuinely unsure how this place is still functioning or where the good reviews are from.

I didn’t feel safe and the owner got mad when I told him I was having an allergy to the chemical cleaning bomb. He said he would give me a refund both through text and in person but I called booking 3 times and booking said the owner did not respond to their messages. The place did not feel welcoming , it felt like someone’s house instead , one person drinking beer at noon with blasting loud music and others playing Mario cart in the office space. Don’t recommend staying here especially if you are a female. Also no locks on spaces and as a female traveler , very unsafe to arrive at night. They give you the lock box for the key code but you’d be fumbling outside for a while along in an empty alleyway if you get here during late hours of the night. I did not stay at this space after noting all of this.

    I wish I could recommend this hostel but unfortunately I cannot. The only good thing about this hostel were the beds. You are sent a code to a key safe which most likely hasn’t been changed recently meaning anyone who has stayed before can get in. On top of this the doors don’t lock which in turn felt very unsafe. The owners themselves don’t have a good attitude and were very forceful trying to pressure people into drinking and electrocuting themselves for a “game” calling us pussies for politely saying no. Smaller issues were that there are only 2 bathrooms shared between everyone meaning if 2 people are showering you cannot go to the toilet and the lack of the advertised “free breakfast”. I can only guess reviews are good due to people being offered a 10% discount for a 10 star review. I left early as I did not feel safe and the owner was very reluctant to give a refund, definitely relying on me forgetting to follow up. I would highly recommend to look at other low reviews as they are also very concerning.

    Worst experience I’ve had after traveling to 10+ countries and being Mexican myself. I just needed a bed for 1 night before catching my next flight. The staff confirmed my reservation in the morning, got there before check in to drop my suitcase and go have lunch. I was told my room would be ready at 3 pm, then at 4 pm. I came back at 4:30 after I was told it was ready, was given a room number and bed… and it wasn’t ready yet. I communicated through WhatsApp and asked about the 3 pm check in because my bed wasn’t ready at 4:30 and the response I got was “don’t worry, your reservation has been cancelled already, now you can look for another place to sleep”. I communicated that I never asked for a cancellation and the staff said “no, but I’m giving it to you”. WHAT? I had never experienced such horrible customer service, at no point was I rude nor requesting something out of the ordinary and what I paid for. I followed the steps mentioned through WA and was understanding that my room was not ready at 3 pm. The room maid said the reason was because her mom and her are responsible for the cleaning of the beds and her mom was at her second job and wasn’t back yet. All of this while I was looking now where I was going to sleep tonight because of them canceling my reservation. It is not a guest’s fault that a business is understaffed and should have complied with what was offered when the reservation was confirmed. So disappointed after reading so many good reviews. I guess I just made it on time for “G’s” attitude. Horrible.

    The location of the hostel is great, and the bed was comfortable. There was no lock on the room door, which made me feel unsafe. This is very much a party hostel, and during my stay, the noise level was extremely high until the early hours of the morning. The staff lacked professionalism; for instance, the owner was visibly drunk when I arrived.

    I hate arriving at a hostel, nobody there, I broke in, found another traveler to call the manager. I arrived when reception was supposed to be open. Pushing on the door hard opened it.No key to my room, landlord offered me a second room someone had slept in the night before. Third room was pretty nice, (where I stayed). Hostel is nice but basic.

    The location, very quiet and safe, easy to walk to the metrobus and lots of restaurants nearby. Hostel is newly opened and modern. Bed has multiple power points and personal light. The rooftop is nice place to chill. This isn't a safe nor pleasant place to stay. I booked a female dorm, there was no lock on the door which meant anyone can walk in - which they did! Men would just walk in and ask for a lighter, we even got asked if another guy could stay in the dorm. Had to point out that it was a female only dorm. It's noisy and a party hostel. The rooms all face onto the courtyard, where they party hard, including drugs. When I mentioned this to the owner, he said "what do you expect, it's a hostel", so he had no intention of doing anything about it for those who might want to go to sleep. One of the guys who had taken god knows what, was completely off his face and scared the girl staying in the mixed dorm so much she came and stayed in our room at 4am. There aren't any activities organised by the hostel, and generally not much information given. There is no reception, and the owner isn't around at all. There's no kitchen, and the very small area with a TV and a kettle really can't fit many people. The room has no window or air con, and only one small floor fan for the whole room. I can imagine it would get really hot in the summer. Would not recommend staying here unfortunately.

    This is very new hostel and there's no reception or no staff on the property. The worst part is check in, no one informs how to check in, called in plenty of times to get in touch and finally got the access code to the lock box outside the hostel. After whole day of exploring the city, came back to no key in the lock box and after calling the hostel number and knocking for 40 min, some other traveler opened the door. Moreover there was toilet paper in bathrooms on second day. Need active staff.
