Bed bugs in the beds, was up all night being bitten all over my legs arms and face. I told a member of staff and he told me if I mentioned him in a review I would get a free drink and completely ignored the situation I had raised. Will not be returning Bed Station in Bangkok is 10x better!! UPDATE- we spoke to some lady’s at reception who were very remorseful and spoke to the manager and gave us a full refund and have given us free food and drinks before we leave and also offered to do our laundry for us. Customer service 10/10!

The staff was great and very friendly. However, you should know that music plays literally all day long, so if you're looking to rest, I wouldn't recommend this place. Also, I had a very bad experience with bedbugs; I was bitten all over my legs during my stay. It was quite uncomfortable.

The bed and sheets were dirty and clearly not properly cleaned. There were bugs in the bed, and after sleeping there I developed a skin infection, which was extremely uncomfortable and concerning. Hygiene standards are seriously lacking. In addition, the night staff made the stay unpleasant by constantly pushing guests to buy more alcohol. The “games” they organized felt less like social activities and more like a trap designed to pressure people into spending money on drinks. I did not feel comfortable, safe, or respected as a guest, and I would not recommend staying here.

Lovely staff and is definitely a party hostel. Only issue is that I encountered bed bugs whilst my stay. The staff were very helpful when I raised the issue.

Revolution Khao San by The Bliss è un ostello rumoroso e giovane, nascosto vicino a Khao San Road. L'attrazione è la messa a punto sociale notturna: giochi, bar, drink gratuiti, un bar, una grande sala ricezione-ristorante e una cena in famiglia gratuita che può rendere facile incontrare nuovi amici che bevono velocemente. La posizione funziona meglio se la vita notturna di Khao San e' l'intera missione. Club, bar, cibo di strada, shopping e un vicino 7-Eleven sono vicini, e l'ostello può essere pieno di energia dal giorno fino a tarda notte. L'ambiente è meno liscio per l'arrivo: i taxi e i pick-up non possono raggiungere la porta, l'ingresso può essere difficile da individuare e il cammino può sembrare buio o puzzolente. Le stanze sono semplici piuttosto che lucide. I dormitori possono avere armadietti, aria condizionata e abbastanza bagni in alcuni piani, ma i letti possono essere duri o stretti, i letti superiori possono avere un vuoto basso e alcune camere private sembrano particolarmente scadenti. Questo e' un posto per festeggiare vicino a Khao San, non per dormire, per stare tranquilli o per ripartire.
Segnali da controllare
- La musica e il rumore dei corridoi possono durare fino alle 5 del mattino; i tappi per le orecchie sono quasi obbligatori.
- L'ostello ha un limite di età che può essere applicato al momento del check-in, con limiti che appaiono intorno ai 35-40 a seconda dei dettagli della prenotazione.
- La pulizia e la manutenzione sono incoerenti, con problemi ricorrenti intorno ai bagni, odori, bagni bloccati, insetti e stanze datate.
- Il pagamento, i depositi, i rimborsi e la gestione del personale possono essere frustranti; può essere necessario effettuare il check-in solo in contanti e pagare ulteriori tasse con la carta.
- Non c'è ascensore, i piani superiori possono essere un bel lavoro con i bagagli, il Wi-Fi a livello superiore potrebbe essere debole e gli armadietti potrebbero aver bisogno di una serratura propria.
