Bed bugs in the beds, was up all night being bitten all over my legs arms and face. I told a member of staff and he told me if I mentioned him in a review I would get a free drink and completely ignored the situation I had raised. Will not be returning Bed Station in Bangkok is 10x better!! UPDATE- we spoke to some lady’s at reception who were very remorseful and spoke to the manager and gave us a full refund and have given us free food and drinks before we leave and also offered to do our laundry for us. Customer service 10/10!

The staff was great and very friendly. However, you should know that music plays literally all day long, so if you're looking to rest, I wouldn't recommend this place. Also, I had a very bad experience with bedbugs; I was bitten all over my legs during my stay. It was quite uncomfortable.

The bed and sheets were dirty and clearly not properly cleaned. There were bugs in the bed, and after sleeping there I developed a skin infection, which was extremely uncomfortable and concerning. Hygiene standards are seriously lacking. In addition, the night staff made the stay unpleasant by constantly pushing guests to buy more alcohol. The “games” they organized felt less like social activities and more like a trap designed to pressure people into spending money on drinks. I did not feel comfortable, safe, or respected as a guest, and I would not recommend staying here.

Lovely staff and is definitely a party hostel. Only issue is that I encountered bed bugs whilst my stay. The staff were very helpful when I raised the issue.

Vibe Analysis
Revolution Khao San by The Bliss is a loud, young party hostel tucked just off Khao San Road. The draw is the nightly social setup: games, pub crawls, free shots, a bar, a big reception-restaurant hangout area, and a free family dinner that can make it easy to meet new drinking buddies fast. The location works best if Khao San nightlife is the whole mission. Clubs, bars, street food, shopping, and a nearby 7-Eleven are close, and the hostel can feel high-energy from day into late night. The alley setting is less smooth for arrival: taxis and ride-hail pickups may not reach the door, the entrance can be hard to spot, and the walk in can feel dark or smelly. Rooms are basic rather than polished. Dorms may have lockers, air conditioning, and enough bathrooms in some layouts, but beds can be hard or cramped, upper bunks may have low clearance, and some private rooms sound especially poor value. This is a place for partying near Khao San, not for sleep, comfort, or a quiet reset.

- Music and hallway noise can run until around 5am; earplugs are close to mandatory.
- The hostel has an age limit that may be enforced at check-in, with cutoffs appearing around 35 to 40 depending on booking details.
