Bed bug reports

The staff were welcoming. The place was crawling with bedbugs. They shouldn't be allowed to operate a business. I had to escape in the middle of the night

First reception guy was ok and location is ok Do not stay here. Bed bugs. I found them after I left, and messaged this hostel to let them know. They rudely told me I was wrong and I'm the first to say this and that it was mosquitoes. I know this is not true because I worked in a hostel for 3 years (and saw many cases of bed bugs!) and I know it was not mosquitos. There were also other reviews about bed bugs so I know I am not the first. A further message from me went unanswered. Reception guy also was watching tv very loudly at 6am which woke us up.
Vibe Analysis
Hostel M is in a very central spot, with the bus station and the main sightseeing areas within easy walking distance. It feels like a basic, practical base for getting around the city rather than a polished hangout. There is a 24-hour reception, and staff may help with bags or taxi arrangements. A kitchen is available, and secure bicycle storage on the balcony is a useful extra. The tradeoff is that the building can feel tired. Some rooms are clean and quiet, but others have had heat, weak airflow, worn bedding, or strong bathroom smells. Bathrooms can be small or messy, the lift is absent, luggage storage may cost extra, and payment may need local cash.
