“Stay at Jimmy Jumps Hostel” said the hungry bed bug. Woke up with bug bites on my leg after the first night. The mattresses are made of foam which makes you feel like you’re sleeping on cardboard. I have stayed in hostels for years and this is the first time I have felt the need to make a comment not recommending to stay here which says a lot given some of the hostels there are out there however this was unbearable due to the state of the beds and facilities. Only redeeming things were staff

Vibe Analysis
Jimmy Jumps House/Hostel is a small old-town Vilnius hostel with a big common area, a little bar, and a social setup that works best when the house is full. The location is the easy win: central, close to bars and walkable sights, with self check-in/keycode access that can make late arrival simple when the instructions land properly. The standout is the family-house energy. Weekends can bring pub crawls, the common room can make it easy to talk, and the staff or volunteer crew can be warm, local, and ready with food and city tips. It is not a polished boutique sleep pod; it is more a cheap, scrappy hangout with a social ceiling that depends on timing. The rough edge is real. Beds are often hard, squeaky, thin, or worn, and bunks may lack curtains, lights, outlets, or useful privacy. Bathrooms and showers can be limited, dirty, cold, or short on hot water, and lockers may need your own padlock or be in poor shape. A shoes-off rule exists, but floors and smells do not always match the rule's ambition.
