Caleta Hostel Rooftop & Pool is best as a transit base right by Cancun's ADO bus station, with a supermarket, food spots, and onward transport close at hand. It works most cleanly for a short stop before or after a bus or flight, especially if location beats beach-zone polish on your priority stack. The rooftop is the main flex: pool, hammocks, tables, and an open-air kitchen area make it the easiest place to cool down, eat, or hang around between plans. Sunset by the pool can be the good version of this place. Rooms can be spacious and some dorm beds have curtains, lockers, and in-room bathrooms, but the setup is inconsistent. The hostel can feel modern and clean on a good day, while bad nights can mean stale air, sewer smells, weak ventilation, cold showers, thin bedding, broken lockers, missing bed lights, and a kitchen that may be under-equipped or messy.
