HAY CHINCHES!! TENGAN CUIDADO!

The absolute worst experience in my life in a hostel. The parties they promote are LAME TOURIST TRAPS. ESP RAZZMATAZZ. DO NOT GO. BEWARE OF BED BUGS. The guy on the bunk next to me had gotten it and they 'changed' his sheets. For three days he was stuck there and his skin broke out terribly - they refused to refund him! or ANY compensation! DISGUSTING. Poorly run place, dirty, disgusting, loud, noisy, smelly, no rules about anything, cheap "breakfast and dinner". No power outlets in your room and wifi is so slow you may as well not even have. It's in a very good location but never ever going to recommend this place. Do not go if you want to relax, get sleep in a clean bed, and use clean bathrooms.

Good Location extremely central Free breakfast and dinner-its free don't complain people ... Curtains on the beds which helps if you are a female in a mixed room to change clothes as toilet was busy Staff were decent Cheap price Sockets on wall you have two they are usb and a nightlight Rooftop terrace is a good way to start your night its full of folk drinking Don't need a locker key Air con can blast real good . Not so good Bitten in my bed-im guessing bedbugs they were very swollen I had about 5/6 huge bites on my legs and arms Location is too central for me so many dodgy folk hanging there waiting to commit theft from you Toilets were grubby Other No you won't sleep but why else would you come here -they werent joking people are literally screaming in the halls banging doors and music is blaring till the morning. The rooms are small only for sleeping nothing else but bunk locker and bin As a solo female traveller it wasn't fun for me but probably good if you came with mates most people did. I recommend to young friends who only want to drink party like hell and meet like minded folk.

My review is more like a 3.5 - Although I didn't stay long (15-20 minutes) I give them 4 stars because I was able to get a refund after seeing someone check who said he was bitten badly by bedbugs. The place may be clean but the building overall is probably infested. Be careful, but have fun!!

Bedbugs!! I had booked a 4 day stay at Kabul Party hostel and on my first night I noticed that the bed I was assigned to was infested with bedbugs. Despite bringing this issue to the attention of the employees, they failed to take any action. Their disregard for such a serious issue reflects their utter negligence towards the well-being and comfort of their guests. Obviously, I had no choice but to find another hostel to stay at. The hostel manager even refused to give me my money back and I had to report them to Booking to finally get a refund. It's just sickening...

The bed was too small for me, I’m 1,85 m. The showers were mostly way too hot, too hard and turn off every few seconds. Also they were pretty gross and quite public with the door open the whole time. The beds were quite gross as well, I got bit by bed bugs.

worst experiences ever. I would not advice anyone to stay even spend a penny in this bullshit place. First of all there staff has no respect for their. They need to learn basic decency to talk to their guest. I was about to miss my flight i politely requested him to take the card and give my deposited amount as there was a very long que. There is no party vibe, bed bugs in the bed. Dirtywashrooms pathetic

BED BUGS, BEWARE!! Just left this place today to discover that I have multiple bites on my arms and inner thighs. The hygiene of this place is abysmal and it’s the worst hostel I’ve stayed at in all my time traveling throughout Europe and Southeast Asia. Not even the trashy party hostels in Thailand full of gap year students were this bad. Definitely do not recommend staying at this hostel. The Brazilian receptionists on cheap work visas all seem to hate their job and think it’s a hassle to even let you in the main entrance. It seems like no one has told these people that they need to do the job they are being paid to do. Check in is atrocious and they treat their own Brazilian kin like royalty and could care less about others, even if it means people skipping the line in front of you. Later on, one of the receptionists stopped to ask me if I was staying there when I walked in, like why else would I be walking into a place like this if I wasn’t staying here? Use your brain. Also, the noise outside does not let you sleep at all and people are always slamming doors in the middle of the night. I get it’s a “party” hostel, but some sound proofing would be appreciated. Whole vibe of the place is weird and off putting. As a solo traveler to another, don’t commit the same mistake and stay here like I did. It’s not worth you getting bed bugs.

Vibe Analysis
Kabul Party Hostel Barcelona is built for a young, noisy Barcelona trip: Plaza Reial location, La Rambla nearby, rooftop/bar energy, organized nights out, and late hours. The location is the biggest win, with restaurants, bars, clubs, the Gothic Quarter, metro links, and the beach within easy reach. The rooftop terrace is the standout piece. It works as the pregame zone, with music, drinks, plaza views, and an easy way to socialize before heading out. Rooms are functional rather than comfy. Dorms can be very small or very large, beds may have curtains and lockers, and charging can mean using sockets inside lockers or shared areas. Breakfast is included and dinner may be available on a first-come basis, but food quality and variety are basic. There is no kitchen, outside alcohol is restricted, towels and luggage storage may cost extra, and pub crawls or nights out can involve added fees. This is a fun choice for party-first backpackers who care more about location and social chaos than sleep. For rest, privacy, spotless bathrooms, quiet work time, or polished service, the fit gets rough fast.
Signals to check
- Expect serious noise from the hostel, rooms, hallways, and Plaza Reial, sometimes into early morning.
- Rooms can be small, warm, smelly, poorly ventilated, or tightly packed, especially larger dorms.
- Cleanliness is inconsistent, especially around bathrooms, bedding, showers, and room odor.
- Security and staff response are weak spots, including theft concerns, rude service, and uncomfortable mixed-dorm or bathroom situations.
- Budget extras can add up: towels, luggage storage, pub crawls, drinks, and restricted outside food or alcohol.
