Spark by Hilton Vienna Donaustadt

The breakfast was great, the staff in the breakfast area were very friendly. Great location even though it's outside the centre - it's easy to travel to. I got insect bites from the room, I'd worn trousers all weekend outside and the only time my legs were exposed were in the hotel room. I did complain formally to the staff, who initially just said - 'Well no one else has!' Then I put my complaint to the front office manager who told me my bites looked like mosquito bites and I must have left a window open ( I didn't). Anyway I put the complaint to him again in writing because it was important that they investigate and didn't give the room to anyone else. I didn't see evidence of bed bugs, however I did note that they allow dogs in the rooms and I saw a couple of other guests with dogs. The hotel replied to my complaint stating that they'd investigated but found nothing, with no recompense to myself.
