Free shots for 5 star ratings don’t be fooled (or do and get free drinks). Proper party hostel - good vibes for 18-22 year olds! Would look elsewhere if you’re interested in mid twenties or older crowd. Also definitely overpriced, the hotel across the street (on the beach) is the same price for a king bed and also includes food and access to the same activities. My sheets had some stains and smelled and the bathrooms are super yucky but it’s a party hostel and definitely looks and feels like one

Revolution Hostel Koh Tao is a loud, party-focused hostel with nightly events, pre-parties, pool, beer pong, and a bar that keeps the place busy late. The location is strong, with the beach and other island action within easy reach. The rooms can be clean and comfortable, and some have full curtains for privacy, AC, and comfy beds. There is also free dinner and breakfast, plus scooter rental and trip help at reception.
