Hostel is in a good location. Rooms are in good condition and other guests were nice and welcoming. Events were held often. Some members of staff were the main drawback. On the day of check in, the lady at the desk was extremely rude and abrupt. Ironically, her attitude was entirely different on the day of check out when asking for a positive review. Additionally, one of the younger workers, Maggie, made a passing remark about my clothing to a friend. For professionalism, go elsewhere.

Free shots for 5 star rating
Free shots for 5 star ratings don’t be fooled (or do and get free drinks). Proper party hostel - good vibes for 18-22 year olds! Would look elsewhere if you’re interested in mid twenties or older crowd. Also definitely overpriced, the hotel across the street (on the beach) is the same price for a king bed and also includes food and access to the same activities. My sheets had some stains and smelled and the bathrooms are super yucky but it’s a party hostel and definitely looks and feels like one

It is the WORST Hostel I have ever stayed at!!! The was NO RUNNING WATER 75% of my Stay!!!! Toilets would be a nightmare! And to top it off: They push everyone to give good reviews. I said I have to think about it and after i checked out I saw that my booking was canceled BECAUSE they didnt want me to make a review!!! I contacted Hostelworld Support and they restored it for me! Stay AWAY and AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! no wonder every fake review got the hostel employees name incl.

Revolution Hostel Koh Tao is a loud, party-focused hostel with nightly events, pre-parties, pool, beer pong, and a bar that keeps the place busy late. The location is strong, with the beach and other island action within easy reach. The rooms can be clean and comfortable, and some have full curtains for privacy, AC, and comfy beds. There is also free dinner and breakfast, plus scooter rental and trip help at reception. The atmosphere is friendly and high-energy, with staff and reps often helping with plans, taxis, and making people feel included. At the same time, room and bathroom upkeep can be uneven, and the noise level is high.
