It's a filthy, dirty place with cockroaches and rats. I got bedbugs also. worst costumer service, since they never could do something what I asked for and have weird rasist policy's. Free Dinner is kindoff small but okay.

Really good hostel. The staffs are so nice. Free breakfast. So many long-term stay backpackers But I have to complain that there are bed bugs in my bed, seriously!!! I was staying in Room 110.

    Got bed bugs. Otherwise okay

They are hopeless with bookings. They have no system, so they are always messing their occupancy around. Rude, incompetent staff. Stinky rooms. Bed bugs. The owner is a pervy douche. The food is poor quality. Not really safe, any stranger gets in anytime with no monitoring. No security. Loud at night, no one does anything about it. The washing machines are broken. Unfair treatment, some people get privileges others do not.

Vibe Analysis

Included breakfast and dinner are the main hook: this is a central Adelaide budget hostel where the meals can make the nightly price stretch a lot further. The food is usually simple, with pasta, rice, mince, pancakes, and limited veggie or vegan options showing up, but having two meals built in is still a real practical advantage. The location works well for the CBD, markets, Rundle Mall, and the central bus station. Beds are mostly capsule-style pods with curtains, charging points, shelves, towels, and storage drawers, so the sleeping setup can feel more private than a plain open bunk, even in large dorms. Some top pods and tight layouts can be awkward, especially for taller bodies or heavy luggage. This is a very crowded, long-stay-heavy place, with lots of workers and large French and Spanish-speaking groups. That can make the social scene feel cliquey rather than easygoing, and noise is a serious downside: late music, hallway chatter, early work alarms, street noise, and thin walls can all wreck sleep. Common areas and meal times can feel overloaded. Seats may run out, the kitchen can be unavailable during cleaning or meal prep, and self-catering is not always convenient. Cleanliness swings hard by area and timing; beds and showers can be fine, while bathrooms, carpets, dorm air, and shared spaces may be dirty, smelly, hot, or poorly ventilated.
