Kip Hotel

First time I stayed there it was lovely. Last night, I found a bed bug. Accidentally say the mattress and it was a little bit worse for wear.

Found bedbugs in my first room. Told them to change it and they did, but involved me changing multiple rooms during my stay.

The bed was unclean and had bed bugs. I got a severe rash because of them. Also it was a windowless room which should be mentioned.

Unfortunately this is my 2nd and last time ever staying at KIP Hotel. I got savaged by bed bugs. Absolutely savaged. And all they did after seeing photographic evidence is refund my money for my stay. This place will never see me book here again NEVER.

The whole property is infested with bedbugs

My partner and I we both got bed bug bites - we are not coming back.

Unfortunately, upon arrival and checking into the ‘Penthouse’ and paying £155 for a birthday evening stay, I was pretty horrified. The photos on the listing are clever, as the room is so much more tired than how it’s pictured. Ripped bedsheets, rust spots all over the floor by the bed, stained pillowcases, ripped seat covers… and then there was the sofa. It was grim. Full of awful stains and completely marked. I wouldn’t let my dog sit on it. I also found black spots in the bed, which if anything showed remnants of bed bugs. Booking.com were really helpful in trying to get me a refund going back and forth with the hotel however the manager refused it, even after sharing all the photos. The manager didn’t see a problem with the room, which says a lot about the hotel. I didn’t get my refund so £155 lost and a ruined birthday evening - don’t make the mistake I did.

My bed had not been cleaned properly. When I took the duvet off some of the sheet came away from the mattress, and the mattress was so disgusting that I was worried about bed bugs. There was also a brown stain on the bed sheet. Also, there was no air conditioning or window in my room (not even a fan), and it was far too hot.

The staff is friendly and The room is cleanest “no bed bug” the room also have an air conditioner, and the toilets doesn’t have any smell. Over all I was impress! everything is nice. Important things is the location is near the overground station it is very convenient. The hotel is also Reception available 24/7. I love it ! I will back to stay at this hotel for holiday again. (I booked Medium Double Room type)
