After spending a week I discovered a bed bug. I messaged the host as soon as possible and they responded "OK NO PROBLEM BYE" (mind you I wasn't requesting a refund or acting uncivilized) I think they know they HAVE an issue. Also the facilities are dated and the pictures are from long ago.

DO NOT GO HERE. Our rooms where fulltime of bed buggy. When we told to staff the refused to give us the refund and became angry

It is dirty and infested with bedbugs.

J'ai eu des punaises de lit, et aucun remboursement, il ne répond même plus à mes messages. Homme de la réception irrespectueux et désagréable.

I got bed bugs the first night staying there all over my body. they switched me to a smaller room for the next 2 nights. then they switched me to a bunk bed which is a bit small because I booked a queen bed. I'm still itching from the bed bugs. also the bathroom light had 1 light that keep flickering on and off so it's giving me a headache whenever I had to use the bathroom.

Woke up with the bed full of bedbugs

There’s no window for the room. But for this price in Medellin I should not ask for more, and it’s a private room not a dorm bed. I’m sorry to get bed bug in my bed, so sleep at the couch at lounge at first night. They help change my room next day, which is ok. The staff are very helpful.

Wir hatten leider Bed bugs und da wir den ganzen Tag auf einem Ausflug waren, haben wir es erst spät abends bemerkt, da war allerdings niemand von der Unterkunft erreichbar. Wir wechselten sofort das Hostel, und haben am nächsten Tag glücklicherweise unser Geld zurück bekommen. ALLERDINGS wurde uns unterstellt, dass wir übertreiben und sie sich nicht vorstellen können, dass es Bettwanzen sind. Wir haben aber Fotos gemacht. Das einzige Foto, auf denen sie man gut erkennt, ist in einem großen Stadium. Es gab auch sehr kleine und kaum sichtbare. Haben allerdings intensive Recherche betrieben und es waren definitiv Bed bugs. Schade darum, dass die die Chance nicht genutzt haben, um das Problem zu beseitigen, sondern und beschuldigt haben, dass es nicht wahr sei.

La primera tarde al llegar salieron insectos de debajo de la almohada, nos cambian de habitación a una donde el colchón era tan duro que apenas dormimos durante dos noches, van pasando los días y cada vez tenemos más picaduras cuando bajamos a la farmacia a preguntar nos dicen que son chinches y que más huéspedes han presentado las mismas picaduras. El personal amablemente nos lava toda la ropa y mochilas y nos reembolsa la última noche ya que no podemos dormir más allí con esa situación, que nos pareció que ellos ya conocían.

Bedbug situation …

Nous avons du dormir sur des chaises car notre chambre était envahit de punaises de lit. Je me suis faite piquée et j’en ai tué 4 sur le lit. On nous a changé les draps et de nouveau nous en avons eu. Maintenant nous espérons ne pas en ramener en France

The problem with the USP of being designed to sleep is the presence of bed bugs. Avoid the room called Belen. Unfortunately like most places in the area they don't care about this. It's likely most of the first floor has them so try and get a room downstairs if you are affected by bed bugs.

i got bed bugs from it. i stayed in the room poblado and woke up with. a bed bug on me. the lady said it wasnt bedbugs but it 1000000% is because of the bite patterns and inflammation of my skin. no cups and no cutting boards

At the linen you can find traces of bed bugs. Unfortunately I did not know before how to read this. Now I have about 100 ichi bites :(

Leider gibt es in dem Hostel Bettwanzen. Unser Zimmer war besonders befallen, wir haben sie nachts gesehen. Daher können wir leider nicht mehr als 3 Sterne geben. Auch die Bettlaken und Handtücher hatten Spuren der Bettwanzen und waren insgesamt nicht besonders sauber! Fast alle Zimmer sind leider innenliegend ohne Fenster.

J'ai trouvé une punaise de lit en arrivant dans ma chambre. Le personnel s'est montré odieux, m'a accusée de l'avoir ramenée, a refusé de me changer de chambre. Après m'être énervé, ils ont fini par me donner un spray pour tuer les insectes et m'ont laissé me débrouiller avec ça. Je ne recommande vraiment pas l'endroit.

I'm covered in bites from bed bugs. When I told the staff, the girl responded "it probably is" and gave me another room and went back to her friend and their videos. The cleaning lady cleaned all my clothes thankfully, but ruined all of my white things and a black dress with a white trim. I just bought one of the white dresses last week, so pretty gutted. It's loud in the rooms. Rooms resemble prison cells. And the WiFi is terrible. Sorry to sound so harsh, but it was honestly one of my worst hostel experiences and I'm unbelievably itchy.
