Bedbugs! I had to check out and ask for refund same day There was bad sound isolation in rooms, but it all didn't matter cause of bedbugs! Killed three right after moving in At first my problem was solved quickly and I got money back (though had to urgently look for another accomodation at night), but after I left the review about it I was called "ungrateful" by stuff. Totally inappropriate behaviour for this horrible situation

Room was infested with bedbugs. The owner said that he had just treated all the rooms for bugs, but... I was eaten alive because I was tired and slept through it all. Be careful!

A&A Hostel is more like a set of simple private single and double rooms than a classic dorm hostel. The practical win is privacy at a low price: a basic room, shared bathrooms, and a common kitchen where cooking, coffee, tea, fruit, cookies, and small sweets may be available. The location works well for buses to Petrovaradin, the university area, a big mall, nearby cafes, and walking into central Novi Sad, but it may feel a bit far from the main action or station depending on the route. The tradeoff is rough edges: thin walls, noise from shared spaces, stairs, tired interiors, variable mattresses, shared-bathroom mess, and summer heat in rooms without reliable air conditioning. Cleanliness is often solid in recent notes, but older problems around pests, bathrooms, and host behavior make this one better for budget travelers who want a private crash pad and can tolerate inconsistency.
