Unfortunately, during our stay both of us experienced repeated bites appearing after nights spent in the hostel room, which made us concerned about possible bed bugs. The reception staff and cleaning staff were always polite, kind and tried to help, including changing bedding and treating the mattresses. However, despite contacting management afterwards, our complaint was largely ignored and we never received a meaningful response from the manager. The situation caused us a lot of stress and significantly affected our stay.

we woke up with bites in the morning and assumed it was bed bugs, they changed our room and striped the old one

Het was mijn derde keer in dit hotel. Deze keer minder goede ervaring. Check in verliep niet vlot. Ik kreeg link naar een app die niet werkte. Ik werd bovendien lelijk gebeten door bedwantsen. Zo zien ze eruit na 2 weken 😟

most terrible hostel expensive in my 10 tens of travel with hostels around the world. Though the staff is nice and location is unbeatable, the environment in inside the room is not a big different from a prison. The quality of people staying in this hostel is a doubt too - they screamed and knocked other room doors at 2am, but not being stopped. bed sheet seems missing from my assigned bed, but then I was bit by bed bugs, waking up with a swollen eye lip.choose this only if you need a roof cover

Booked for 2 nights and only stayed 1 because of the back pain the bed gave me. The mattress sags and the pillow is hard. I see in their response they say they use quality mattresses, but it’s the worst one out of all the hostels I’ve stayed at. The bed frame is also weak and flimsy, so it creaks and shakes whenever the person in the top bunk moves. Seems like it’s been an issue for a while and nothing has been done about it. There is minimal space between the bottom and top bunk - I am 5’4 and cannot sit up in my bed at all and I’ve hit my head a few times. There was also a stain in my duvet cover and I had to go ask for a new one. The bathroom is fine. The sink design is very awkward. With it being super narrow, water gets everywhere if you try to wash your face and there is no where to put your things. Lastly, the check in is confusing. I had to help two people at 9pm because the reception was left unattended. Edit: next day I have found multiple bites that weren’t there before. It’ll be disappointing to know there were bed bugs too.

I had a problem at night don't know if it was bed bugs or fleas, it was really hard to sleep, I had bite marks all over my body and itched a loot.

Na het verblijf erg veel bulten door bedwantsen. Dit teruggegeven aan accommodatie, maar die ontkennen dat er bedwantsen kunnen zijn.

ik kwam thuis en had bultjes die iriteerde ben hiervoor naar de huisarts geweest en dit bleken bedwantsen te zijn dit heb ik dus opgelopen in uw hotel en moet dus naar gekeken worden ik heb in kamer 403 geslapen.

I was bitten by bed bugs.

Vreselijke ervaring gehad in dit hostel. We hebben tijdens onze reis bedwantsen ontdekt in het bed. Dit aangegeven bij de receptie, vervolgens wordt er niks mee gedaan. Ze zouden ‘de kamer even checken’. Wij kunnen nu al onze kleding en onze koffer weggooien. Dit is niet de eerste keer hier, mevrouw bij receptie gaf aan dat er al over gemaild was door iemand anders. Te goor voor woorden. Er werd verder niets van een compensatie aangeboden, terwijl wij nu tientallen of honderden euro’s kwijt zijn. Bedankt!

We are disappointed with the customer service... when we found the bed bugs and reported it to the receptionist, we were told it could happen in any hotel.... like seriously ?? They offered to wash our clothes, they took the matter lightly ! after multiple reminders, we were told it was not possible to get a refund.

Wir hatten Bettwanzen im Zimmer und es war kein anderes Zimmer frei. Wir mussten uns dann ein neues teureres Hotel buchen. Das ASH hat die Mehrkosten nicht übernommen, was wir sehr enttäuschend fanden.

- Parties communes incomfortables, petites et très sales - Personnel froid et inefficace, mention spéciale à la tunisienne et la roumaine qui vous font bien comprendre qu'elles ne vous aideront pas - Musique techno à fond jusqu'au bout de la nuit - Constamment de grands groupes d'adolescents qui rendent le séjour impossible - Aucune sécurité, des gens sans réservations dorment sans payer et entrent dans les chambres - PUNAISES DE LIT

The property is well located near the central station and the room was comfortable. The checkin and keys are via app, which we found a bit annoying for one night stay. The stay was good, beside the fact that we had an issue with bed bugs in our room. We had to checkout early and disinfect our belonging as soon as we got home. The staff was really helpful when we reported the issue, I almost believe that was not a recurrent issue. Anyway, this totally affected out experience.

We had an issue with bed bugs in our room. Since we left in the the morning, as soon as we arrived home, we had to desinfect our clothes and hope that we didn’t carry any bug with us. Another thing that I didn’t like, was the need to download the checkin app for one night stay, a key card would be easier and more practical.

Got bedbug

good location, nice room condition, good snack for breakfast. The only thing I don't like.. I god many bug bites on my neck and shoulder during sleeping. I told reception, he said it looks like bed bug's bite. (I felt it was my fault.) It was very itchy. . I traveled 8 more days after that. But I never ever get any bug bite. They have to be concern about the cleanness and they have to get emergency medicine kit.

Mi estadía fue muy tranquila, las instalaciones del hotel son apropiadas y cómodas. La limpieza debería ser el punto a mejorar, si bien la limpieza en los baños, cocina y demás espacios del hotel era apropiada, en mi cama encontré algunas chinches lo cual resultó un poco incómodo. El personal fue siempre muy atento.

Bed bugs bit me, so you can imagine the great experience...

The facilities were fair (nice kitchen and lounge area), but I unfortunately got eaten alive by bedbugs in the room.

Malheureusement, j'y ai attrappé des punaises de lit.. mais l'équipe à bien gérer le probleme. Dès que j'ai avisée la réception, on m'a donner de l'argent pour faire mon lavage a l'eau chaude et séché mes vêtements. Le réceptonniste m'a ensuite envoyé à la pharmacie pour acheter les produits que le pharmacien recommandait pour les piqures. Ils m'omt ensuite remboursé m'a crème. J'ai été changé de chambre et toutes les personnes qui étaient dans la même chambre que moi aussi. J'imagine que la chambre a été décontaminée. J'espere que la chambre dans laquelle j'ai été mise ensuite à aussi été décontaminée puisque j'ai peut-être pu y apporter les punaises..
