Keypad self-check-in is a defining part of Albergue Amodiño. It suits Camino arrivals who want a simple code, a shower, and no reception queue, though it also means the place can feel more automated than old-school albergue social. The location is the easy win: central Arzúa, directly on or very near the Camino, close to the church, shops, restaurants, pharmacy, and services. Inside, the setup is compact, clean when running well, and practical, with a large equipped kitchen, common area, board games, books, sofas, and a garden or outdoor drying space. Beds can be comfortable, with linen, blankets, curtains, plugs, lights, and lockers in at least some dorm setups. The building has an older-house feel with a remodel that keeps some charm, but that also brings tradeoffs: creaky floors, thin walls, and rooms near the entrance or lounge that can be noisy.
