Bad luck me, I got many bed bugs bites during my stay. No toilet in common spaces.

But this hostel it’a a big scam. 9.5 could not be the right pontuation. Old building, no bar, no reception, lo lift Just random people, the kitchen it’s really old with bad smell. And I went there, the bed sheets smell really bad, I found two insects on my bed, looks like bedbugs (not sure if it was). Definitely it was the worst place that i stayed in my all life

Vibe Analysis
The Liverpool Pod works best as a cheap, compact base for football trips. Anfield is about a 20-minute walk away, Goodison Park is very close, and buses near County Road make the city centre manageable without staying in the middle of Liverpool. The setup is self check-in with a door code, so arrival can be simple, late, and low-contact. Beds are often pod-style with curtains, and the stronger rooms have clean bathrooms, decent showers, privacy, sockets, and small kitchen facilities. The place can feel quiet and practical rather than party-hostel social. Cleanliness is a real split: plenty of rooms and bathrooms seem well kept, but bedding, kitchens, older fixtures, and common areas can be inconsistent. The building is narrow, old, and compact, with steep stairs and limited hangout space, so it suits a short stay better than a long backpacker chapter. Security is the main caveat. Dorm doors may not lock, storage may need your own lock or may not feel secure, and staff presence can be mostly remote even when communication is quick. The surrounding area and late-night street noise can also feel rough, especially for solo arrivals.
