Bed & Breakfast Silak
Vibe Analysis
The vaulted brick cellar breakfast room is the easy standout at Bed & Breakfast Silak. Breakfast is generous, varied, fresh, and often served in a setting that makes the old house feel like part of the Ptuj experience rather than just a place to sleep. This is a restored historic B&B near the Drava and the old town, with a quiet courtyard, clean modern rooms, and a warm family-run feel. Lidija is a major part of the stay: arrival often includes practical city orientation, restaurant tips, walking routes, and help with small logistics. The location works well for exploring Ptuj on foot, with cafes, restaurants, museums, the castle, and the riverside close by. Private parking is a real plus, and there may be secure storage for bikes or a motorbike. The overall mood is calm, personal, and cared-for, more intimate guesthouse than party hostel.
