Wild Rover Beach Mancora

I don't usually complain, but after 2 nights here, I came out in rashes on my both my arms from bed bugs. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt in that they may not have known they were there, however when we told them, there was no apology or attempt at compensation (I wasn't expecting anything major, just a simple sorry for the inconvenience, or for the fact that I had to buy a bunch of expensive medicine), this would have actually been sufficient for me. It could have been a one-off thing, and we enjoyed our stay up until this point, but we had to leave a night early as we didn't fancy sleeping in that same bed again.

The hostel is amazing, maybe bit distance from centre in 15 minutes (or tuk tuk car in pen 5), but the equipment, hot water shower, 🚿 swimming pool, nice bar, nice and quiet beach in 1 minute (just outside of hostel), much more important thing is the staffs are really good and friendly. The music and evening activities are really nice too 😀 ☺️ , and the room has security box. I was attacked by bedbug from bus, and asked for help, they are super supportive. Give me separated room, and hot water shower checks everything. I appreciate to them a lot, thank you again

If I could rate this 0/5 stars then I would for one reason alone. My friend and I stayed here for just a couple days and got bed bugs. We have stayed at many places in different countries and never had this problem, ever. Don't stay here unless you want to bring insects to your next hotel and home. 0/5 stars.

My friend and I stayed here for a few days and literally got bed bugs. Neither of us have ever had bed bugs in our life, even in many travels. I would rate this 0/5 stars just for that reason alone. Don't stay here unless you want to bring insects to your next hotel or home.

I got very bad bed bug bites staying here. The manager believed it was sand flies (it definitely wasn't) but promised they'd check fully and offered a change of room and full refund. This was a real shame because the hostel is fantastic and the staff were super friendly. Hopefully this was an unlucky one off because it's a great hostel and I'd have very happily stayed if it wasn't for this
