Vibe Analysis
The Arlington is a vintage, very purple small-town hostel near Algonquin Park, with a pub/restaurant downstairs or next door that can turn into the best part of the stay when it is open. Pool with locals, pizza, beers, records, VHS tapes, sofas, books, patios, and a shared lounge give it more personality than a plain overnight stop. This is basic, old-building accommodation, not a polished hotel. Rooms can be spacious and affordable, staff and ownership often seem warm, and the place can feel like staying in someone’s eccentric house.
