MEININGER Salzburg City Center

Overall it’s a decent place but I was bit by bed bugs I sent the hostal an email about it and they didn’t respond. If you have sensitive skin I wouldn’t recommend. It’s also more like a Hotel than a Hostal.

Very much of a hotel vibe, the guest kitchen was very disgusting they only clean it once during my stay and we had to which rooms because one of the guest found a bed bug in her bed

Wir hatten beide nach dieser einen Nacht Bettwanzen-Bisse an Füßen und Händen. Die Matratze bzw. ? In 313 scheint mir die Ursache. Salzburg war gut, schöner Abend auf der Durchreise. Ansonsten - vielen Dank für den "tollen" Start in den Urlaub.

Hicimos una reserva para 2 adultos, una niña de 6 años y un bebé que teóricamente no pagaba, digo teóricamente porque si que cobran el servicio del bebé cuando haces el checkout. El desayuno de los menores estaba incluido, otro timo, porque también te lo cargan después. El servicio fue horrible, toallas rotas y sucias, 5 días sin cambiar la sábanas y cuando lo pedimos, nos pusieron mala cara, pagamos el desayuno y no pudieron dar el servicio, pero tampoco nos devolvieron el dinero, ni el de los menores que teóricamente era GRATIS y para colmo de males nos dieron una cama con chinches, mis hijos se llenaron, el peor hotel en el que he estado. Nada recomendable, hay mejores, mas baratos y con mejor servicio en la misma zona. Los últimos 5 días cambiamos de hotel aun sabiendo que íbamos a perder el dinero.

There were bed bugs in our room and even after complaining about it after the first night and showing the red spots in our body, they did not change the beds, but only the linens. We had to sleep again in the same beds. And while changing the linens, they removed our footwears which we left in the room, under our cot, when we went for sightseeing and it was never found after when we complained that they were missing. Even though the other facilities were good and reception staffs were friendly, these bad experiences would let me give a one star for this hotel/hostel. I always had a good impression about the meininger hostels and would have searched for it before I chose any other hostel. But now I will rethink before choosing.
