Avrasya Hostel

This place has a bed bug infestation. Noticed them in at least three beds and another bed had feces marks on the crevices of the mattress. The shower drain is full of dead flies, and several live ones flying around while you shower. Like come on, at least clean out the drain of the dead flies. One of the owners lives in the dorm with the guests which creates an odd vibe.

You get what you pay for ! Cheap hostel = dirty showers, mildew, creeping roof, rude employee. Description from Hostelworld doesn't match in real. Couldn't pay by credit card. Airport shuttle is not included and almost impossible to assemble a group big enough. Hygienic paper has been missing all week in many toilets. *Unbearable odor of chemical spray* in first floor dorm for "cleanliness" (#bed-bugs). They also put pressure on me to give a positive review before leaving. Location is good tho.

THE WORST HOSTEL IN WHICH I STAYED UNTIL TODAY. And I weigh my words. A room filled with bed bugs, by which we were eaten all night. No windows in the room of 12 people. It stinks and it’s unbreathable. To counter bed bugs, staff spray ENORMOUSLY every morning and it's very toxic. Without aeration, we inhale it all night. i would never recommand a hostel like this, better to sleep outside. edit: next year we chose this place again, turned to a ruined place, dirty, and with BED BUGS!Stay away!!! +nice and clean rooms +very good location near the tramway (remember it works until 12Am ), +everynight our way back to room passed through of historical mosque's +calm neighbourhood in night so you can sleep well (considering you are in heart of Sultan Ahmed district) +there is a nice balcony and lobby the meet new guys -there us a useful kitchen but dishes and other staff was dirty,I khow it's on passengers to do that but some time(weekly at least ) should be clean and organized by the owner i think.
