great location, the staff is super friendly and makes sure you have a great time!! however, one member of my party left the hostel with bed bugs so the cleanliness could be improved for sure. other that it was a great stay!!

You get what you pay for. Staff were short with people, not very friendly. Bar crawls were good but the ratio of guys to girls was a bit unsettling. Has a whole wall of boob scans tacked up which I found a bit crude. Girls I met said there were bedbugs in their rooms, bathroom floors were always wet. No AC. Bed and room were fine but the whole property is stuck in the 2000s. Only thing it has going for it is its location.

Pros: Really nice and fun staff. Excellent location. Pub crawl pregame drinking party has some fun games. Cons: bed bugs!!! I’m covered in bites. Mostly guys staying there so pub crawls are a sausage fest. No female only dorms (probably why it’s all guys). When the front desk closes the community room closes with it so nowhere for everyone to chill at.

The location is the big practical win: close to the main square, tram links, bars, cheap food, and the old town action. It can be easy to meet others in the evening, especially if your Krakow plan is to drink, join bar crawls, and treat the bed as crash space after 3 a.m. The vibe is more chaotic student trip than polished backpacker base, with small common areas that fill up fast once the night starts. Facilities are rough. Bathrooms can be dirty, wet, smelly, and scarce for the number of beds, and rooms can be hot, cramped, worn, or short on practical basics like bunk curtains and bedside charging. The hostel can work for a cheap one- or two-night party stop, but it is a bad fit for sleep, privacy, calm mornings, remote work, or anyone sensitive to grime. There is also a crude sexual edge to the atmosphere: waiver rules around bunk beds, explicit wall decor, and drinking-game tasks involving body photocopies are part of the experience. That gives the place a very specific frat-house frequency, so the best match is someone who actively wants a rowdy, messy, no-filter party base in the center of Krakow.
