Backpackers Fairytale

The front door of the building was open to everyone, ok nothing they can do about that but the front door to the hostel was never locked. 2 toilets & showers for the whole hostel. Toilets crammed in. Very basic and dated feel about the whole place. Towels given, hand towels. Quite sure I’ve been bitten by a bedbug on my leg and on my arm. Staff were friendly enough but just did the literal basic job compared with staff at other hostels I’ve stayed in this summer.

Bed bugs

Didn’t sleep there my last night, missed the ferry and came back to my room closed for bed bugs and my stuff moved the night before and left UNLOCKED ALL NIGHT. Passport money, all my stuff just moved and free to anyone. They said “we didn’t have a number to call you”. Sooo glad I didn’t stay the second night!
