Was there in October 2023. My bed was next to the windows and it made it cold inside at night. What was the worst, I come back bitten by bedbugs.

Vibe Analysis
Vagabonds is a casual, slightly chaotic Belfast hostel with a homey sharehouse feel. The location works well for Queen's University, the Botanic Gardens, Ulster Museum, nearby pubs and bookstores, and a 10-20 minute walk into the centre. The lounge is the main asset: couches, TV, musical instruments, graffiti, photographs, and wall art give the old building a funky lived-in character. It can be social, with communal dinners, drinks, bar outings, and a young international crowd, though the energy is more loose and improvised than programmed. Expect basic hostel mechanics rather than polished comfort. Breakfast is usually simple toast, cereal, tea, and coffee; the kitchen is small but usable; laundry may take time. Staff and volunteers can be warm and helpful, but service can also feel cliquey, disorganized, or hard to find.
