Hotel Sphinx

I believe we had bed bugs in the room we slept in our first night. This was our first hotel in our trip and when I woke the morning a/f sleeping in Room 1 there were three bug bites in a row on one hip, and 2 more bites on my torso. We looked at the mattress and found black specks. Hotel disputed that these were bed bugs, saying black specks were pieces of linen and/or that it can take up to a week for bed bug bites to appear and refused a full refund. The fact that this was our first hotel of trip, the three bites in a row discovered sleeping one night in Room 1, and the black specks on mattress make me believe was bed bugs.

Bed bugs. Stay away!

Don't stay here. Seriously. I don't ask a lot when I stay at a cheap hostel. I ask for a) friendly customer service, b) me and my belongings to be safe and c) just to have a clean room with clean bedsheets. I don't think that is a lot. Well... Let's just say that "Hotel" Sphinx made me feel VERY uncomfortable and none of the things I ask for were fulfilled. First of all someone came into our room even though WE WERE THERE and it wasn't anyone of the staff. It was another customer. Ummm... HOW? Well my strange stay at Sphinx continued when we realized there was a tiny bug on my friends bed. And then on mine. Bedbugs. Ew ew ew. My friend went to the reception and the guy had been a bit stiff and rude before but now he full on told my friend she was wrong. "There's no bedbugs. It's probably this" he said and showed my friend a picture of a cockroach. Unbelievable. We got to change rooms after going to the reception twice and it seemed like such a job for the reception guy who was probably a vampire as he never slept and didn't give us even a smile during our stay. Safe to say we left in the morning. The breakfast and the young woman at the reception in the morning (who told us we can get a refund of our last night that we didn't want to spend there - bless her, such an angel and lovely customer server) were the only reason I can give this place a 1 star.

Insalubre Les murs s'effritent, 1 prise électrique par chambre, une faune d'animaux considéré comme nuisible ou dangereux pour l'homme dans les chambre dont les punaises de lits, des portes impossible a ouvrir, un personnel parlant l'anglais à l'aide de Google traduction (cela ne voulais rien dire), des douches qui tombent toute seule, une chaise pas de table ni de lampe de chevet, un concept innovant pour les fenetre qu'on pouvait enlever (ce n'était pas prevu a la pose) ......... Nonobstant, un bon petit déjeuner même si les produits des grandes marques étaient bloqué dans les placards, un personnel inefficace mais aimable Wifi rapide ~15Mbps Je vous le déconseille fortement

Bon emplacement près du centre ville, et bon petit-déj mais attention aux punaises de lit (bed bugs) ! Hygiène insuffisante.

hotel normal tirando. baja calidad, hay bed & breakfast mejores, el desayuno aceptable lo peor encontrar chinches en la habitación.....
