The location is the easy win here, with supermarkets, restaurants, tour offices, the plaza, and the bus terminal all walkable. It fits travelers who want a simple place to sleep, sort gear, leave early, and get moving again. The strongest thing here is the human side. Camila, Sandro, Carlos, and the reception team make the place feel kind, helpful, and solution-oriented. Early departures are part of the rhythm: breakfast boxes and lunch packs for treks and tours are a real perk, and luggage storage makes it useful before and after hiking. Breakfast itself is often a highlight, especially when it is packed for an early bus or trail day. This is not a glossy backpacker scene or a party hostel. It is more of a small, functional crash pad with a homey edge when the staff are on form. Some rooms land clean, warm, and comfortable; others are much rougher, with old finishes, tiny layouts, internal windows, thin walls, and limited storage.
