Bed bug infested, stay clear!!

I found bed bugs in my room and I'm extremely allergic to them. Even after informing the reception, no one came to the room to notify the other guests and clean it. and when I arrived, the staff informed me that the check-in time was different from that stated in the app, after begging, she did it at my arrival time.

BEDBUGS!!! I was in room 229 for 2 nights and was covered in bed bug bites all over when i left (i recognize them since i had them a couple years back once). I wrote an email to let them know about the room and asked for a refund of 15€ that i bought a bedbug spray from, but they never replied. This was beginning of august 2024.

Voyage en novembre 2023 : On a eu trois chambres différentes dans la nuit et deux d'entre elles étaient infestées de punaises de lit... Le personnel n'avait pas l'air plus embêté que ça.

Think there may have been some bed bugs as woke up with bites. Lift was confusing to use early in the morning.

BED BUGS! they made me stay at the top bunk bed (3rd) even without other guests in the room although I asked to be changed. When i wake up in the morning my skin is itchy and I have several bed bug bites. I had a severe allergic reaction and it was hard for me to breathe. I consulted my dermatologist doctor and he confirmed that it is indeed caused by bed bug. My medical treatment and medicines are a lot more expensive than a stay in this hostel. I definitely regret it.

We found bedbugs in one of our beds. The staff didn’t seem too surprised and did not ask any further questions or notified the other dorm-residents (to our knowledge). We were offered a new room but they couldn’t guarantee that there were no bedbugs in the other dorm. We were not able to get or confirm a refund immediately and we are still waiting for the refund. Otherwise, the hostel was nice with a 24/7 open reception and bar in which we stayed the night instead.

The athmophere is very pleasant and the people are all very nice. However, I had bed bugs in my bed and had over 1,000 bites. We were then allowed to change rooms but it was directly occupied for new guests. Our flatmates in that room stayed there. I was supposed to get money back for this but it hasn't happened yet.
