In general we would recommend this hostel (atmosphere & rooms great, staff FRIENDLY!) but not now. Right now they have a huge BEDBUG problem. We stayed one night in the bungalow, there we saw bedbugs. The staff moved us easily in the suite (no extra charge). They were really friendly, offered to wash our clothes & to spray them with pesticides. After one night in the suite we found bedbugs again! We heard about cases in the mixed dorms too. The staff was really nice & we got a full refund.

i genuinely really liked the hostel! good views and free breakfast is always a vibe. but i got bed bugs from staying here! i only worked out what was happening after i left so couldn’t notify them, just warning other travellers

Washrooms are not comfortable (small space, no hot water after certain time (after 11pm I guess), hot inside). You may have problems with bed bugs though the hostel is doing its best to get rid of it. Breakfast is fixed (not good for long stays) and served in a small plate. At least, they may change&include different things every breakfast.

Vibe Analysis
Can Mocamp has a dive-center setup with a training pool, which gives the place a practical Kaş edge beyond the usual bed-and-breakfast routine. The main pool, olive trees, sea views, cats and dogs, and bungalow paths make it feel more like a relaxed camp compound than a standard hostel. The social side is best when the bar, restaurant, pool, and garden areas are alive: beer, pizza, live music, fireside nights, Turkish dancing, and easy backpacker chats all fit the scene. It can also be peaceful, especially around the bungalows and common areas, so the vibe is more loose coastal hangout than full-throttle party machine. Breakfast is usually a strong point, with a simple Mediterranean spread and plenty of tea. The on-site restaurant is a real part of the appeal, especially the pizzas, though food prices and variety may not work for every budget. Location is a tradeoff. Kaş center is roughly 15-20 minutes on foot, with beach access nearby and a bus stop by the property, but the site sits near roads and a marina area, so certain rooms or tent spots can get traffic noise.

- Dorms and bungalows can be basic, and a few rooms may feel small or hot without air conditioning.
- Hot water, water pressure, towels, hair dryers, and general facilities can be inconsistent.
- Cleanliness is mixed, especially in shared bathrooms, common areas, and older camping facilities.
- Kitchen access is very limited; there may be a kettle, but not a proper self-catering setup.
- Breakfast timing may be too late for early boat trips, hikes, or day trips.
- Late-night service and reception coverage can be limited on certain nights.
- Road noise can be a real issue in rooms, bungalows, or tent areas closer to traffic.
