Hotel Cabañas de Tolú is a basic, central place for a short Tolú stop, close to the beach, the center, restaurants, pharmacies, shops, and the malecón. It sits away from the loud beachfront strip, which can make it calmer than staying right on the front. Breakfast is one of the stronger parts here: it can be tasty, varied, hot, quick, and served in decent portions. The hosts and staff can also be warm and very hands-on, with Don Andrés and his wife standing out for attentive help. This is not a polished comfort hotel.
