Wow so many. 1) Manager was extremely rude. Made me use their sliders for my shower as mine were “outdoor sliders” Had a small bag of potatoes in my room in my designated space and told me off for keeping it there saying I need to keep in kitchen. However other people had there stuff lying around and he had no problem 2)The dormitory had a nasty damp smell. No matter how many times I sprayed air freshener it wouldn’t go. 3) Picture shows that there is cooker. Which is incorrect. One of the main reason I chose this was so I could cook 4) Shower had no hot water only cold. Apparently they have no boiler and water temperature is solar powered. Also the shower hardly has water pressure so it takes double the time to have a shower. 5) On one of the days it rained heavy and water leaked all over the dormitory floor. Lift stopped working so had to walk 7 levels up and down daily 6) BED BUGS. Everyday I was waking up with itchy legs and day by day more bites kept coming.

Vibe Analysis

12hour hostel - Jeddah is a very basic, low-cost place for a short stopover rather than a polished international hostel. It is small, apartment-like, and can work if the main goal is a bed in Jeddah, with comfy dorm beds, ventilation, Wi-Fi throughout, and supermarkets, late-night food, and coffee nearby. Self check-in is a core part of the stay. The building may not show the hostel name outside, so arrival usually depends on WhatsApp contact, a door code, floor details, and timing with the caretaker for payment. Without those details, finding the place can be difficult. The social side is mixed. It can feel like a real hostel where different people meet, but the setup is bare-bones and the atmosphere may be more practical than fun. Cleanliness, staff help, bathroom supplies, towels, hot water, privacy, and access to shared areas after checkout are all unreliable.
