Cannot even begin to articulate how terrible this hostel is. Not only are the rooms, services and staff terrible but when I complained I was met with a huge amount of hostility both in person (was told me feeling unsafe was “my own problem”) and over emails I was threatened and told if I left bad reviews or put in a complaint with hostel world I would be blacklisted from other hostels. I had to check out after 1 night as felt so unsafe and was then refused a refund for the rest of my stay so was left out of pocket. The email I sent the hostel outlined these issues: - Completely deceptive photos about what the place is like, no indication that the bathrooms are straight off the reception, same with the bedrooms (you literally open your bedroom/bathroom door right off the reception area and when you get up to go to the bathroom you have to walk right past the front desk) and the disgusting conditions of the rooms & bathrooms (no soap, not working water, dirty sheets, including signs of bedbugs on my mattress) - A 5% card fee when I tried to pay with debit card, despite the booking saying that fee was only for credit card, meaning I had to go get cash out late at night - General feeling of being unsafe due to the flimsy lockers, no space to store large bags and there is a side door from the bedroom leading directly to the street which was banged on multiple times during the night, was terrified someone was going to break in - Was asked for my passport as collateral for hiring a locker, was told cash was no good when I suggested that instead Overall, the experience and the price I paid were on completely seperate ends of the scale - I had booked due to the good (although noisy) location and the nice looking photos so was shocked when I arrived. Incidentally there are no plugs in the bedrooms to charge devices which made the whole situation worse as my phone was dying while I desperately tried to book somewhere else to stay.

This hostel was a nightmare. The photos were deceptive; rooms and filthy bathrooms open directly onto the reception. I found signs of bedbugs, no soap, and broken taps. Safety is a major concern - lockers are flimsy, and a side door to the street was banged on all night. Staff were hostile, threatening to “report” me for complaining, and refused a refund after I left after one night. They also demand to keep your passport to hire a locker and charge hidden card fees. No bedside plugs. AVOID!!!!

Not very clean but some of the staff was nice and made me coffee for free. A good area close to the central and the railway. Not very social and also found a BED BUG
