Trendy Hostel

Wir haben großen Gesprächsbedarf: 1. Ich wurde nachts von Bettwanzen gestochen. 2. Die Adidas-Schuhe meiner Freundin wurden geklaut. 3. Mein Baguette wurde aus dem Kühlschrank entwendet, angeknabbert und dann „unauffällig“ wieder an die selbe Stelle zurückgelegt. 4. In der Lobby befanden sich dauerhaft Männer, die ein unangenehmes Gefühl vermittelten und anscheinend im Hostel leben? 5. In der Lobby wurden öffentlich Drogen konsumiert vor den Augen des Personals. Außerdem konnten wir keine Schließfächer auffinden, wie es in der Beschreibung stand. Durch die mangelnde Sicherheit konnte der bereits erwähnte Diebstahl einfach stattfinden.

This place is disgusting and i would give it a zero if i could. Creepy men everywhere staring you down. Cockroaches and bedbugs everywhere it shocking. I couldnt even stay the night and i had to stay out on the streets and let me tell you it was better than staying in this hostel.

La saleté et les punaises de lit qui m'ont laissé des piqures jusqu'à maintenant.

Nothing. Will not be back. Also, I thought there were bed bugs, felt itchy on the skin when I was lying down on the bed. Btw I booked for a women' room but the staff changed it to a mixed room without my permission. The free usage of the computer is useless. Someone changed the characters of the keyboard' and the staff was unable to fix it. The alphabets were jumbled up. Really bad! Will.not book again at this hostel. If I knew that St Christopher,'s had the same rate, I would have book St Christopher...

Some mouses and coackroaches. Terrible smell in the toilet and in the lobby . Wifi is perfect by the way. The multicultural area around is vivid and and calm. For 10e per night that should be acceptable. But not for 30. No bedbugs surprisingly.

Fuyez ! Sérieusement, dormir ici gachera votre séjour à Paris. J'y suis rester 9 jours, et je deconseille fortement à quiconque voudrais venir dans les environs. Par quoi commencer ? C'est hyper crade : j'ai vu à plusieurs reprises des rats s'amuser au milieu de la nouriture et de la vaisselle dans la cuisine, des cafards et divers autres nuisibles dans l'évier de la cuisine, des punaises de lits pullulent dans les dortoirs. En 9 jours, je n'ai pas vu les salles communes être nétoyées une seule fois. Les toilettes sont immondes, et sentent à plusieurs mètres. Les draps sont réutilisé d'un client à l'autre, sans être lavés. Seules les douches sont passées à l'eau vite fait. Le pire c'est qu'ils le savent. Lorsque je leur ai parlé des rats, ils m'ont répondu "oui, oui, on va voir", et rien n'a été fait ... Ensuite, la réservation : Après 23h, vous ne pouvez plus prendre votre réservation, il faut aller ailleurs. Cependant, vous avez déjà payé 50€ pour la réservation. Poubelle ! Alors que ce n'est marqué nulle part. A noter également que plusieurs personnes sont venues dormir après 23h, sur les canapés des salles communes : des squatteurs ! Certains changent également de lit comme bon leur semble, laissant les autres clients sans lits pour la nuit. L'auberge est également censée être réservée pour les personnes de 18-35 ans, mais j'ai vu des sextuagénaires y passer les nuits, c'est n'importe quoi ! Ensuite, les dortoirs : Des salles de 10m², où 20 lits sont casés facon tétris, sales évidemment, et non climatisées (je vous laisse immaginer la chaleur lorsqu'il y a 20 personnes. Il n'y a pas d'horaires limite pour y rentrer, donc il n'est pas rare que des gens rentrent après 2h du matin, en réveillant tout le monde. De même pour le matin, personne n'est discret. On fait donc des nuits d'à peine 4-5h, on est fatigués pour le restant de la journée. Les casiers pour ranger ses affaires sont trop petits, donc les valises trainnent dans le peu d'espace entre les lits, et tout le monde y a accès. J'ai eu un soir la surprise de découvrir qu'on avait fouillé dans mes affaires pendant la journée. J'ai du menacer de porter plainte pour récuperer mes affaires. Enfin, la gestion : Plus aucun personnel après 23h. Vous êtes livré à vous-même au moindre problème. À noté également qu'il n'y a aucun numéro pour les joindre, et qu'il est impossible de parler à un responsable. Les douches sont lavées à 9h du matin, lorsque tout le monde essaye de les utiliser, excellent timing. Des travaux ont eut lieu en plein milieu de la soirée lors de mes 2 derniers jours de séjour, vidant totalement les salles communes de leurs meubles, et les rendant inutilisable. Conclusion : cet etablissement ne mérite même pas la seule étoile que je lui donne. Tout ce qu'il mérite, c'est une visite des services de l'hygienne, et une fermeture administrative.

Such a GREAT PLACE! The staff is so friendly, the facilities are up to date and clean. Nice living room area to lounge in, some tables to eat and even plates and cups to use (alps microwave, toaster and hot water kettle available) Aloui was super kind and so friendly answering questions I had about the metro, if I ever come back I’ll def be coming here 🙂 also NO bed bugs 10/12/19 (saw some reviews a ways back that said there were)

DONT BOOK THIS HOSTEL! FULL OF BEDBUGS AND I SAW A RAT. WE STILL WAITING FOT OUR MONEY BACK. ALSO SO FOR FROM THE CITY CENTER

CIMICI DA LETTO, BED BUGS Il personale è gentile e la posizione comoda in quanto vicina ad una fermata della metro, ma a causa della scarsa igiene e della trascuratezza delle camere io ed un mio amico siamo stati ricoperti di punture di cimici da letto. Ho dovuto curarmi con iniezioni di cortisone ed antistaminico, ostello assolutamente da evitare. The staff is friendly and the location is convenient as it is close to a metro station, but due to poor hygiene and neglect of the rooms, a friend and I were covered with bed bug bites. I had to treat myself with cortisone injections and antihistamine, a hostel to be absolutely avoided

First of all the staff who worked there was really great. But this doesn't change the unpleasant stay I had, since the hostel was infested with bedbugs. After I came Home I had so many bites and I am still scared that i might have them in my Home. It is irresponsible That the Hostel is still open and People have to Suffer afterwards.

Prima di partire, leggendo le recensioni, mi ero accorto che alcune persone si erano lamentete del fatto che nelle camere da letto si trovassero le cimici dei materassi. Tra me e me però ho pensato "ma dai non capiterà mica a me"...... ....e invece dopo una delle prime notti del nostro soggiorno io ed un mio amico ci siamo svegliati con una grande quantita di punture. Cimici, cimici, cimici. Dal momento che ti hanno punto, danno un grandissimo fastidio e un gran prurito per alcuni giorni. Un altro punto a sfavore dell'ostello è il fatto che la camera dove ci hanno sistemati (camera da 18 persone, ma assolutamente accettabile) disponesse di una sola toilette (al quanto insufficente), di due sole doccie e di due soli lavavi. Personale cortese e disponibile. Le camere e i bagni erano piuttosto puliti, ma la vera pecca rimane essere stata la prensenza delle cimici da letto nella camera.

Bitten by bed bug bites all over my body just after 1 night! Avoid this hostel!

I paid for 4 people a month in advance. When we arrived, they charged us all as if I didn’t pay. After telling them I paid and showing evidence, they ignored my request for a refund and acted like it wasn’t a big deal at all. The rooms were fine minus the bed bugs. Overall, not a good experience and I wouldn’t recommend.

Fairly moderate bed bug infestation. If bed bug bites irritate you (some people miraculously aren’t affected), don’t avoid this place!

Des punaises de lit. Lorsque j'ai fait part du problème au personnel rien n'a été fait. J'ai demandé le remboursement du prix du restant du séjour. La personne agissant en tant que gérant m'a fait jouer à pierre feuille ciseaux pour calculer la somme qu'il voulait bien me restituer. En presicant que celui ci faisait déjà un effort. Ridicule.

Staff and layout were nice but I had bed bugs the first night. The staff did my laundry and moved me to another room for the remainder of my stay, but I noticed that they gave my bed to another traveller right after I changed rooms. It seems that (based on reviews) there have been a lot of bed bug incidents, so I would suggest not staying here until there is a corrective action to stop the spread of bed bugs in the hostel. The bites can take up to 10-14 days to appear so you may not even notice until after your stay.

The reason I'm giving it a low rating is mainly because of the bed bug incident. They had a huge bed big problem. My first night there I woke up with lots of bits and huge bed bugs crawling up the walls. Also the sheet between the mattress and added sheet that they give you looked like it had never been washed. When I told the receptionist about the bed bugs he said that they had just sprayed the beds last week. I guess they have had this issue before and didn't do anything except spray the place. My guess is that the some of the first set of bugs survived the spray and built an immunity. They had me switched beds and also did all my laundry free of charge. However none of the other girls in the room switched beds so I'm pretty certain they all have bed bugs. Other than that the service was nice and the rooms are air conditioned. There are also outlets for every bed to charge phones. In the kitchen it is worth noting that there is no over, just a microwave which was fine. I thought it was weird that they had pots and pans with no over. The staff were very nice and the hostel was like a 3 minute walk to a subway station.

Bed bugs, one item stolen (not something worth anything, but a rather nuisance to find another now), bad smell in the room, women in the male dorm and wires over the bed. Shower is is small and stops after a few seconds and require being reset several times during the bath.

BEDBUGS! Be forewarned. I and at least 2 other people got them last week. I was in the ladies dormitory. I checked under my bed and there were dead bedbugs all over. I have huge welts now. Pretty awful experience. Oh, the hostel also advertises that they have free breakfast, but they are charging €2.50 for your run-of-the mill basic hostel breakfast (toast, coffee, cereal). I’m giving this place one extra star because of the location. Until they figure out the bedbug situation STAY SOMEPLACE ELSE.

Les pires nuits de ma vie ! The worst nights in my life ! Cette auberge est infestée de punaises de lit. Je suis parti avant la fin de ma réservation tellement il était impossible de dormir. J'ai fait plein d'auberges de jeunesse dans le monde, et c'est vraiment la pire où j'ai pu rester. Pour une ville comme Paris c'est une honte. Et quand on entend le staff dire qu'"il s'en bat les c*******" que son auberge soit infestée de punaises, ça donne vraiment envie de dépenser son argent ailleurs. As other comments, this hostel is full of bed bugs. I left it before the end of my stay as it was impossible to sleep. I stay in many hostels across the world and it's really the worst I stay in. For Paris it's a shame. And hearing the staff saying "they don't give a s***" about the bed bugs, it convinces me to spend my money elsewhere

Le daría las 5 estrellas, pero tiene una plaga de chinches de cama, que te pican sin compasión durante la noche. Si se van a quedar aquí no olviden su repelente de mosquitos. Todo lo demás bien.

i stayed in this hostel for a week, it was really good, the rooms were clean, aswell as the toilets. beds were really comfy and i had no issues with bedbugs at all. breakfast included, that means some kind of cereals, fresh milk, orange juice, coffee, bread, a toaster and butter or jam, all in all pretty normal i‘d say. the personal was always up for jokes and were really friendly. also a nice lounge with netflix what i didnt really use that often but it’s nice to have. the thing i liked the most was the atmosphere, everything was so calm and chill and the people who were living in this hostel were also really chill. all in all a really good hostel, go there by yourself! ps: oh and yeah, my toe is ok, no worries!

While staying at this hostel I was getting bitten by bed bugs. During my stay they decided to spray for them, but they didn't wash our bed sheets. They just folded them to spray the room, then had us remake our beds with the same sheets. I was still getting bitten so I wanted to check out early. The staff made a big deal about this and didn't seem to believe that I was still getting bitten since they sprayed the rooms. They refused to give me a full refund of the nights that I had left there because of their policy of needing three days notice of checking out early, even though I was checking out early do to the bed bugs, and not a change of plans on my part.

We stayed two nights at the trendy hostel. The location was good - close to metro. The staff was nice but most of the time outside having a smoke or hanging out. So we waited quite a bit to check in. It took forever and he really took his time but waisted ours. When we came to the room we saw someone spraying the mattresses with some bug stuff, staff said don't worry about it. The whole room smelled terrible. And here's why I'm not happy with this hostel: bed bugs. I got itchy bits all over me, but just right after we left. Also the showers were mouldy and it was always super humid in the bathroom. I didn't expect much from the breakfast. Just white bread with butter and jam and some dried out cornflakes. I think it's okay when you stay here short term. Beds are comfy and they got a nice lounge with Netflix. But yeah my experience was bad because of the bed bugs I'm still dealing with.
