Hop Inn

Note that this hotel is NOT affiliated with any Hop Inn from Japan, Philippines, and Thailand. Rather, it is a budget hostel situated within a very old building with other hostels in the same level. For a budget hotel, it is decent, but if you are expecting it to be like Hop Inn, please reconsider. Further concerns to consider are its unsanitary conditions (bedbugs, mold, stains on sheets) and safety and potential of crime. The location however, is great because you’re in Tsim Sha Tsui.

The room was disgusting and cheaply maintained. There were many faulty wires that could be a fire hazard. It was scary to sleep because I saw several bedbugs on the wall. There were blood stains on the bedsheet, and the towel provided at check-in looked used. we just stayed for 1 hour and decided to find some other hotel nearby

There were bed bugs. I informed the staff and they said they would rectify this issue but no compensation offered even though I had to wash and dryer every single thing at my next destination. The hostel is advertised as 24hrs reception but thats false. I waited 40mins for someone to open the front door - and it was another guest. Reception only opened at 8am. Staff do not respond to the whatsapp numbers posted on the door and the lift landing has no aircon. Very unhappy with my stay.
