Stayed for 3 nights, we have a 5yo. Location Very easy to access. Though Exit C Yau Mah Tei. Kindly note that this would need some going up the stairs to exit. Kindly expect a challenge when using the metro. Location - youre near everything. Our first stay was in chungking mansions, this is quite near but the neighborhood here is more quiet but still at the center of everything. Service. Towels, shampoo, soap via dispense type. No water, theres a recent rule in HK to reduce waste. Common room you can purch water though and can cook your food etc. The people at lobby super nice and approachable. I would stay here again for the hospitality. Room is ok, not fancy, but clean and most important bed bugs free certified. Bed is comfy and youll be really able to rest well! Place can access bu taxi or uber, fair priced, we spent about 30 to 70 hkd depends on where u wana go. I will surely stay here again if im on a hotel budget very affordable, decent and easy accessed place! Love! Can leave your luggage if you arrive early. Just tell them in advance.

We would recommend this place. Great location the neighborhood is very cute with a lot of reasonable-priced food choices. Easy connection to MTR and buses. Comfortable lobby/shared space/living room that you can have your meal there or even work on your laptop 24/7. There are so many power outlet spots, both in our bedroom and in the living room. The small kitchen was practical and clean. There's a fridge that you can write your name plus room number and check out date at store your food in there for free. 🌟 there is filtered drinking water from the tap at the sink of the kitchen, which helps those who are on a budget but doesn't wanna drink tap water🌟 Overall, it is very clean. They also have the "Free of bed bug" certificate😂. however, the floor in our bedroom(1502), could be a bit cleaner, as there were quite some black female hair on the floor with quite a lot dust next to an under the lower bunk bed. The bathroom has separated wet and dry, zones. The shower was awesome. We would want to stay here again on our next trip to Hong Kong . The only alternative accommodation would be the "Y-loft" in Chia Wan area, as the price were rather similar, but the room was three times the size with a balcony and provided small simple breakfast.

Good budget stay in Hong Kong that's near every the MTR station. Easy check in and hassle-free check out. Clean, no bedbugs. Small room, but okay if you're on the go and just looking for a place to stay at night.

This place was such an unexpectedly amazing find for me. I randomly searched for hotels on the TST area until I found this on Yau Ma Tei. It was around my budget. It had small rooms, but that is standard in HongKong. All rooms are like that. 😅 No bed bugs. Easy to find. Near the MRT station. I loved my stay here.

รร.ทำเลดี ใกล้ mtr yau ma tei บริเวณรอบๆมีร้านอาหารเยอะ อร่อยมาก จองห้อง 2 คนไป ขนาดเล็กมากตามราคา เปิดกระเป๋าเดินทางพร้อมกันสองคนไม่ได้ แต่ดีที่ว่ามีหน้าต่าง วิวค่อนข้างปลอดโปร่ง แอร์เย็น ห้องสะอาด ไม่มีกลิ่นบุหรี่เพราะที่นี่ห้ามสูบเลยทุกห้อง - ตอนไปไม่เจอปัญหาเรื่อง bed bug หรือแมลงที่อยู่บนที่นอน เห็นที่เคาท์เตอร์ reception มีใบประกาศว่ารร.ได้รับการการันตีว่าไม่มี bed bug - มีบริการรับฝากกระเป๋าที่ดีมาก checkout เสร็จแล้วขอฝากกระเป๋าได้ พนง.จะให้กระดาษมาห้องติดกระเป๋า แล้วเอากระเป๋าเก็บเข้าห้องอย่างดี ล๊อครหัส - บริเวณโดยรอบมีร้านอาหารเยอะ ไม่เปลี่ยว มีรถบัส A21 ผ่าน - ข้อเสียที่ไม่ประทับใจมากๆ คือที่นอน นอนไปละยุบลงไปเลย หมอนก็บางมาก นอนตื่นมาคือปวดบ่าปวดไหล่ เดินสะพายกระเป๋าทั้งวันไม่เป็นอะไร มาเป็นก็ตอนนอนเตียงนี่แหละ ถ้าได้ไปฮ่องกงอีก จะกลับไปพักอีกเพราะค่อนข้างโอเคเลย ร้านติ่มซำแถวนั้นอร่อยมาก (เอาจริงร้านอาหารฮ่องกงคือดีย์หมด ยังไม่เจอร้านไม่อร่อยเลย)

We wanted so badly to give this place the benefit of the doubt and have come away from it feeling like we can't recommend it. Here's why- When we initially arrived the cleanliness of the room was lacking. The curtains and walls were covered in stains and drips from liquids, a few scuff marks is totally fine, but stuff clearly hadn't been wiped down in a while. That said, bathroom was clean! My partner started getting bug bites and over the course of six days had over ten per ankle. We are pretty sure they were from bed bugs, because of the pattern of the bites plus some other signs, and so we went to talk to the front desk. While initially sympathetic they were unwilling to offer even a discount or paying for laundry. They also offered another room but when we entered there were cockroaches. They then asked if we had been to the countryside and basically said they thought we had tracked them in -- which was pretty hard to swallow from a customer experience perspective. I do think they tried their best given the circumstances (hostel was fully booked) but it wasn't a great experience staying here.

Been there few times because of low prices. Staffs are very racist, not very welcoming nor friendly to Asian looking guests. That’s what I got from the conversation I had with other Asian guests over a few visits. As a female from western country, somehow I can feel and see they are thirst for western men. I’m offen being ignored. Last time I came, there was a drink night in the common area, which two higher position receptionists joined for the event. They went on to only invite western good looking men. I was working on the other side of the common area, never been greeted. This time I came back for for 2 nights and should be the last time. Because bed bugs are everywhere. They are trying to prove that they don’t have bed bugs and blame the guests in the room. However, I overheard that they have this problem for a period of time already, kept selling the beds to new guests. I don’t think that’s very professional. Another thing is the cancellation, never been to a hostel you can get nothing back in any case of cancellations. They are just greedy for money, not a good hostel vibe. Book or not, leave for you to judge.
