This was an excellent hostel experience! We stayed in the mixed dorms, which were extremely clean overall and the layout was also super nice. The beds weren't bunk beds and we made some friends there too! 1 minus star since another guest found a bed bug so be weary of this. The staff said they spray the beds down so maybe this was an isolated issue. The communal bathrooms were very clean and nice too. Enough stalls for probably the whole village :D. Just remember to have some coins around if you want warm water. The staff was also incredibly nice and helpful in all kind of ways. They helped wash, dry and fold the laundry from the bed bug victims too. They gave us a lot of tips on what to do, where to go and about the weather conditions etc. Always really friendly and happy :D And the bar was also super nice, even though it was kind of off-season (mid-February), there was still a little action there too. The bartender was also incredibly friendly!! The area where the hostel is located is relatively calm too, away from the busy train station and bigger hotels. Not too far though, around a 15-20 minute walk from the station or you can just the the bus. The bus stop is right next to the hostel too, quick connections to essentially everywhere! Ohh and extra points for the super adorable dog! Thanks for everything, would totally visit again <3

If you do not want to be bitten by BED BUGS, do not stay here!!! We found a bed bug crawling on my pillow the day we arrived. When we informed the receptionist, she fiercely denied having bed bugs despite the solid evidence (photo, dead bug and bites included) and developed a horribly rude attitude towards us. However, after talking with the online booking intermediary, she reluctantly promised to provide us with a full refund which we would receive later on our credit card. One whole month later, we receive an email from the hostel alleging once again that they did not have bed bugs and that we would not be receiving our refund anymore. Now they are ignoring our attempts to contact them. Absolutely ridiculous and DISHONEST behaviour for a hostel which probably never intended to refund us and only agreed to do so to shoo us away!
