***** BED BUGS ***** THIS REVIEW KEEPS BEING HIDDEN BY THE COMPANY! Debated posting this review, however this situation has had a massive impact on our travels and we haven’t been impressed with how the hostel handled the situation. Planned to stay here for 3 nights but left after the first after waking up to bed bugs on my bed, climbing up the wall and onto my bag. We were in the four bed dorm. I told receptionist, who almost laughed in shock but reassured me housekeeping clean and they have said there is no bed bugs. I showed them pictures and videos, they are literally the google definition of bed bugs. We quickly vacated the room, not one staff member came and looked or offered their concern, they even left a girl asleep in the room knowing there were bed bugs on at least 1 out of the 4 bed. We had to ASK for our money back, to which we were only refunded for the 2 nights we didn’t stay and not the night we did stay and get trauma. Bed bugs are notorious for being hard to get rid of, having to either freeze them or burn them. Being travelling our options were limited, so we had to leave all our belongings in bin bags in the direct sunlight for 4 days and then wash and dry everything on high (at our own expense). The hostel hasn’t reached our once, i’m presuming they just changed the bedding and had other people stay the night in that room as they really didn’t seem to understand how bad bed bugs are. The size of them show they’ve been there for a while! I have pictures and videos of them running around :)

I had bedbugs, not great, but it might happen in a hostel. Good vibe, nice people, and close to the beach. The beds have curtains, unfortunately their is a weird smell in the rooms.
