BEDBUGS. I woke up to a bedbug next to me on my pillow. when I was checking out I showed the host a picture and he said he would spray the bed before the next person checked in. This is not an adequate way to remove bedbugs! The room/building needs to be fumigated. After I checked out the host then cancelled my booking in a bid to stop me from posting a review to warn other travelers. I contacted the website and they sent me a review request. Do not stay here.

Wonderful place to stay - Ton was a fantastic host, really helpful and can recommend you the best places in Chiang Mai & beyond. It's also cheaper if you book tours with him; especially ethical elephant sanctuary. Some people reviewed bed bugs, but we did not see them because the company came to kill them by spraying and Ton came up to spray twice a day, I saw him take all curtains wash up outside too. The whole place was clean and there was free breakfast too. Thanks 😊

Stayed for 2 nights. Didn’t sleep on the last one because of bedbugs. Asked the owner about it the next morning and turns out he’d closed off the bunk beneath me several days previously also because of bedbugs, so a bit disappointing that he didn’t let me know.

It’s a good location and Ton in the reception is so helpful! The rooms got scorching hot during the days when the ac was off and breakfast was very simple but it worked. I am unfortunately pretty sure that I got bed bugs from here though so that was not nice.
