toilets were all broken, had no water for one night, rarely anyone at reception and my friend got bed bugs bites.

HYGIENE RATING 0!!!! Rooms weren’t cleaned at all, my bed even had someone else’s body cream from prior in it. Only a few showers worked. The toilets were vile and I’d eat out just to use a clean toilet. Lights barely worked in toilet and showers, there flies were everywhere and it’s not an Island thing because my next place had 0. CHERRY ON TOP.. the beds had bed bugs and I woke up covered in clustered bites even though I slept in a tracksuit. I checked out early. They write the good reviews.

Staff were super friendly and kind. Good vibes in the main area but our friends 14 bed mixed dorm had bedbugs and then her booking was cancelled by the hostel after she had stayed to prevent her from leaving a review.

The vibe was soooo great and the people were so fun!! There was always something going on but not to much. The staff was so friendly and helpful, one of them even drove me to the pier today! We might’ve had bed bugs and they let all of us in the room switch beds immediately and made sure everyone was okay. Also we were there at family dinner night and it was soooo nice and free!! The toilets and bedrooms weren’t the cleanest.

I stayed at the Wanderlust for 3 nights and found my stay to be okay. I had booked the capsule female dorm and can honestly say they are not capsules, they are just normal bunkbeds. I am personally not a fan of misleading information so I am starting with clearing that up. Upon arrival check in was easy, i was able to pick my own bed and could settle in. The room has AC and it works beautifully; Every bed had a light and a socket to charge your belongings; There are curtains to provide Privacy; Lockers are big enough to put loads of stuff in; Reception is always willing to help and they really have a lot of contacts for quick service; They provide transfers to the harbour; You can rent scooters via them; They have a bar on the premises; Water refill machine available at all times; Plenty of sinks, toilets and showers; And the overall vibe was hippy/kind. (No bed bugs) I did enjoy my stay on the island, yet this hostel does have plenty that could be improved: The cleaners don't really bother to clean the rooms properly, they do 'one' sweep of the floor and that is literally it; They also didn't clean the sheets or the blankets between guests when I was there at the time of cleaning. They just folded the blankets and dusted the beds a bit; No bins in the rooms? (Every just leaves their trash on the floor and cabinets due to that); The toilets are often really dirty of fecal matter not being properly flushed as well; The showers have insane smells and mold inside; No hooks in the showers to hang stuff; The sinktaps are hanging in to dear life and could use some upgrading; The common area 'chill matrasses' are so dirty, those sheets need a wash; Lot of clean towels had stains on them (but smelled clean); There is one guy at the hostel who works there that just does not understand social cues and will not stop talking. 9/10 staff is amazing though! Location might be a bit out of place if you don't have a scooter. I got myself a scooter via the hostel and the scooter was in really good condition. Every service I used via them was good and any recommendation they have over their WhatsApp group is really nice to receive. They have a groupchat to inform about the daily activities, same as the island chat, but more info. I did enjoy my stay there, I like the dorm I was in and I made some friends while staying here too. But maintenance- and hygiene-wise this place had a load of work to do. Due to that I am rating them 3 stars. They also have a cat and a dog, for the people that don't like animals or are scared of them. (Both animals are very lovely spirited)

The pictures of the bed doesn't match in reality. In picture bed seems much nicer.The walls are really thin so you can hear everything. Music is pretty loud until midnight. The rooms are just opposite of the bar area. I didn't knew it was a party hostel before booking. I didn't sleep at all, and needed to change accommodation between my booking. I always check under the mattress if there's bed bugs. There wasn't but mattress was really dirty.

BED BUG CENTRAL! The amount of bed bugs here is a JOKE! DO NOT STAY HERE! The manager also tries to act like he’s dumb by not knowing what a receipt is when in fact he does and he is just incredibly deceitful. I wouldn’t stay here ever! *Editing because of the response from the owner: Firstly this is not fake content PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE because you will get bed bugs. I came to the hostel because it was supposed to be social as I was going to the full moon party but it’s clearly not clean at all, sewers are cleaner than this hostel. As you can see the owner is clearly a childish individual who results to personal attacks rather than fixing the issue of having bed bugs in his hostel. Poor man. Please also learn how to speak proper English.

absolutely terrible hostel that had mouldy mattresses and bed bugs in it. security was non-existent as anyone could walk into the room. would avoid this hostel like the plague!!!

Honestly, not a great hostel if you are over 22. It’s definitely a party hostel, quite grubby, and it relies on party travellers to clean up the place. The manager was screaming at some people to ‘get the f**k out of the hostel’ while we were there. Lots of unnecessary drama and overall a place that is managed poorly. Likely to get bed bugs here, and sweat profusely in the room at night. Good luck!

Don’t stay here, really gross. Bedbugs, all the toilets were broken, as was our AC. Staff are rude and don’t have a clue what they’re doing, argue with each other, just a bit of a joke hostel. Overpriced too.

Not a great experience at all. - Rooms can't be locked - Hardly any sight in the rooms (super dark) - Bed bugs - Multiple people had things missing - Prices extremely inflated (full moon) - Extremely loud music, even when there's literally nobody there
