Guest House Pongyi

Guest House Pongyi is a small, cozy place in Kanazawa with a lot of character. It used to be a kimono shop, and that history still shapes the feel of the building. Nina and Masaki are a big part of the stay. They are warm and hands-on, give food and sightseeing tips, and often bring people together over tea, dinner, and evening activities like origami, calligraphy, kanji writing, name writing, bento making, onigiri, and simple cooking. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bathrooms and kitchen are in good shape, and the location is convenient for the station and central sights. It feels more like a small house than a standard hostel.
