Station Hostel for Backpackers

No bed bugs, really clean, quiet, great location. Stayed in a one bed single room with private bathroom for one night.

This hostel is pretty standard. Close to the cathedral and everything. The staff are friendly and welcoming. But it is not very clean. The first night the bathroom was clogged and I beat a bed bug on my bed…after one night stay and I went back home, I found two huge bed bug bites mark on my arm…which itches for a whole week:(

The bathrooms and showers weren't clean, at all. No signs of cleaning in there. The bedroom that I stayed in was ok, apart for the fact that I found bedbugs. The breakfast was kinda good. If you need a place in the center of Cologne to crash, this is the option. However if you are going to stay more than 2/3 days, please reconsider your choice of hostel.

No cleaning, at all! Dirty showers, disgusting toilets, if you spend a month in the room you won’t see a vacuum or broom for exactly a month. Plus, if i had a nickle for each time i found a bedbug in my bed, i would have 2 nickles… which isn't a lot, but it’s weird it did happen twice…

Nice hostel but be careful about bedbugs. I saw bedbugs under my bed just after checking in. The reception gave me another room and it was ok. Nice place, nice hostel, but the rooms and the bathrooms were not very clean ..

Largely unsatisfied, lady at the desk was nice. However the night I was there the bar was closed so couldn't meet anyone. The rooms had wifi but it did not work at all.... Then when trying to sleep was greeted by a lovely bedbug. Yeah nah.

Sind angekommen und haben direkt Bettwanzen in Zimmer 402 entdeckt! Bin direkt wieder raus gegangen und musste mir eine ICE Fahrt zurück nach Halburg buchen. Habe mehrere Rezensionen gelesen wo es den Besitzer nicht mal interessiert an!

Good location 5 minute walk from Köln Hauptbahnhof. Only stayed for one night, staff seemed ok, good access and security. Maybe not sparkling clean but for hostels with high visitor numbers I’ve seen worse. Read bad reviews about bed bugs, happy to say mine was clean.

Ganz in Ordnung nachdem wir umziehen mussten aus einem anderen Hostel wegen Bettwanzen. :(

BED BUGS, BED BUGS, BED BUGS!!!!!!!! What else to say.....

It's an oke hostel for what you are paying, but the low price of the room comes with bed bugs. So beware of the small change the bite you and you and up with high cost of cleaning your stuff. With the cost of washing and drycleaning, I could get a room in the Hilton across the street ;)

Bed bugs! Stay away!

Bettwanzen!!! Bedbugs!!!! Never again. Went there with a group of friends. 3 rooms are knowingly infested by bedbugs! Staff and owner knows but are not willing to change the bedbug issue. "Bedbugs happen! We can't change that" was their answer! Never again!

Bedbugs?

Found bed bugs on the walls although didn't actually get bitten. Lockers had been removed because of 'recent incidents'. Kind of ok bar downstairs though and not terrible rooms despite lack of lockers. Wouldn't go again unless I had to.

Hostel was well located, comfortable, and seemed clean aside from the smell of the bathrooms. BUT I woke up covered in bedbug bites. Stay somewhere else.
