No me gustó que la primera noche me picaron unos bichos, no sé si arañas o chinches , me queje y me cambiaron de habitación. Por un mes me siguieron picando esas picaduras. Pero lo demás excelente

Selina Salta has the bones of a stylish central hostel: good location in the old town, pretty entrance and common areas, cafe/restaurant, patio, rooftop, kitchen, and staff who can be friendly and helpful. It can work if you want a social-looking base with food and drinks on site and do not mind a big mixed hostel/hotel setup. The big catch is sleep. A neighboring peña/music venue and in-house events come up again and again, often loud until around 2-3am, and several rooms seem to sit right on the noise. Dorm and private-room comfort is uneven: tiny rooms and bathrooms, humidity or mold smell, damp bedding or clothes, weak cleaning, and old fixtures appear often. This is better for travelers who value central location and can tolerate chaos than for anyone trying to recover before early tours.
