Coruña Surf Hostel is right on the beach, with ocean views, sunsets, surf, and a low-price, rough-edged setup. It works best as a simple surf base: walk barefoot to the sand, arrange surf lessons on site, hang around the lounge or outdoor areas, and lean into the young, social atmosphere. Beach volleyball, ping-pong, a basketball hoop, yoga, coastal walks, nearby bars or a food truck, and occasional shared activities give it more scene than polish. Andrés and the team can be friendly and helpful, and the strongest version of the place is cheap, beach-first, communal, and easygoing. The tradeoff is serious. Facilities can be very basic, old, unfinished, cramped, hot, poorly ventilated, sandy, and dirty. Bathrooms, showers, bedding, kitchen gear, fridges, power outlets, doors, signage, check-in, transport, and photo accuracy have all been unreliable. This is not a comfort pick; it is a budget surf crash pad for low-maintenance backpackers who care more about the beach and social energy than cleanliness, sleep, privacy, or smooth logistics.
