OTravel Hostel 5 Minutes from Mactan Airport
Charging points and bag space support a short overnight stop; the setup is private rather than social, but recent bedbug problems make it risky.

Vibe Analysis
OTravel is a Mactan Airport crash pad: close, pod-style, and mostly built for one short night between flights. The sleeping cabins can be spacious and private, with enough setup for charging, bags, and shutting the world out before an early departure. The tradeoff is not subtle. Recent bedbug problems are serious enough to make this a risky pick, even though the airport convenience and pod layout are useful. Cockroach and bathroom complaints sit in the same orbit, so this is not a place to book on autopilot. It is not a social hostel and the surrounding area is mostly practical, not fun. The entrance can be awkward to find inside an unlabeled or apartment-style building, and the best use case is very narrow: sleep, shower if the room checks out, then get to the airport.
Signals to check
- Recent bedbug problems are serious enough to treat as a safety issue.
- The building can be hard to find from the street.
- Bathrooms and showers can feel old, small, or dirty.
