   This is the worst hostel ever. The man at reception was incredibly rude, humiliated me in front of others, and even tried to kick me out at 1 a.m. I was supposed to arrive around midnight and had received check-in instructions, including my room and bed number, since reception closes at that time. When I arrived, I had already gone to the room I was initially assigned. Later, I found out the receptionist had sent me a new message with different room and bed numbers—something I hadn’t seen yet. Shortly after, another guest arrived for the same bed. Then, for the first time, the receptionist showed up in person and was extremely aggressive. He was so rude, humilated me in front of everyone and refused to let me go to the new room. He told me to leave, despite my reservation already being paid for, and wanted to kick me out at 1 a.m. He even accused me of fraud because I had to make the reservation twice earlier —my card didn’t work the first time, and I’m still not sure why. As a solo female traveler, I did not feel safe in this hostel at all. The area itself felt unsafe too. I stayed the night, but I couldn’t sleep and couldn’t stop crying. I was genuinely afraid he might come back and do something bad to me. I don’t recommend it at all. It had ruined my vacations.

   Wouldn't bother booking - terrible management. Had booked a room here and wanted to amend my booking, had sent several messages on the booking.com app to the property and no one got back to me so messaged the contact number that was provided. Turns out you end up whatsapping a guy, he guaranteed my booking had been changed but nothing updated on the app and it just seemed really creepy and sketchy. Had no idea if the booking was legit or not so went to cancel my booking and ended up having to pay to cancel it. Tried to put in for an exception for cancelling the booking and again no one got back to me, this was months in advance of the booking and quite frankly is a diabolical way of running a business. Seems seedy and sus.

   Ladies be aware- No locks for bedroom doors and door is wide open to the street. It is clear this hostel is marketing towards women, and I can see the potential with the new upgrades to the bathrooms and bedrooms, but they really cannot expect women to feel safe when they bedrooms don’t come with keys AND the door is wide open to the sketchy street all day long. There is technically a receptionist, but it is not like he is checking IDs or even watching the door. They also didn’t really understand that I wanted to leave my bags somewhere secure until my bus later in the day. The employee suggested just leaving them in the living room? Overall, cleanliness is good, bathrooms are excellent, but please upgrade your safety.
