A koala may be on site, which is a very Apollo Bay kind of bonus and gives this place a small weird-wonder edge beyond the usual Great Ocean Road stopover. The hostel itself feels more like a big modern house than a party base: clean, warm, quiet, spacious, and built around relaxed common areas. The kitchen setup is a real strength, with lots of space, storage, multiple cooking stations, and even little details like a herb garden and garlic press. There are plenty of places to spread out too: lounges with sofas, books and games, TV rooms, a fireplace or fire pit area, outdoor space, rooftop terrace, and work or computer space. This is best for travelers who want an easy, social-but-chilled reset near the beach, restaurants, shops, walks, and the Great Ocean Road route.
