Vibe Analysis
Agüita Surf Lodge is a clean, newer hostel close to the beach, with a layout that gives a bit of privacy while still leaving room to be social. The rooftop is the standout: an open-air space with lounge chairs and tables, plus an outdoor shower, so it works well for sun, downtime, and hanging out. The place has two well-equipped kitchens, and the owner is easygoing and responsive. A private room with bathroom is available, and the communal area can fit a bike. The atmosphere can suit someone who wants a calm base as much as someone who wants a friendly shared space. It sits right by the main surf area, which is very handy if waves are the priority. For a quieter pace, that location also lands at the calmer end of town. There is also access to activities at Agüita House if a livelier schedule is the goal.
