Vibe Analysis
Aloha Hostel Siargao is mainly a cheap location play in General Luna, close to Tourist Road with shops, cafes, bars and restaurants outside, and the beach just across the street with a short walk. It works best as a simple bed base rather than a social hostel. Private rooms can be basic but workable when they have AC, a bed and a private bathroom. Hot water and aircon are positives when available, and a family-run welcome with Hana specifically can make the place feel warmer. The hostel sounds extremely bare-bones: small rooms, thin walls, street noise, weak Wi-Fi, limited storage and very basic bathroom areas. Cleanliness is a real concern, with dirty or smelly rooms, wet bathrooms, flies and insects. Verify the current building and booking details before arrival. There are serious past problems around outdated photos, a possible building mismatch and even an arrival where the hostel could not be found.
