Sangita Homestay

Sangita Homestay is a simple airport-side stop near Bagdogra, best suited for a night before or after a flight rather than a social hostel scene. The airport is very close, with airport drops and taxi help sometimes arranged by the owner for a fair price. Rooms seem clean and practical, with air conditioning, a fan, hot water, clean bathrooms, and in some cases a spacious, new-feeling setup. The mood is more homey than party-focused, with polite, helpful owners, WhatsApp help for directions, late arrival support, and food available nearby or delivered from a nearby restaurant. This is still a basic homestay. The area around the property can feel sparse, room facilities may be minimal, and supplies such as drinking water or toilet paper may not always be provided. There are also rough edges: one booking problem led to relocation next door, the main gate may be locked early in the morning, power backup did not switch over in one room, and cockroaches appeared in one case.
