The strongest thing here is practical warmth: the owners help with border crossings, Iguazu Falls, Itaipu Dam, Monday Falls, buses, taxis, luggage, check-out timing, and local food tips, often in good English. The location works well for a city stopover: near Lago de la Republica, within walking distance of the bus terminal for many routes, and close to restaurants, bars, a bakery, supermarket, cafes, and shopping areas.
