Full reviewTerrible experience at this hostel. When we checked in, one of the beds was already used, but the staff just remade it and assigned it to us anyway. In the middle of the night, someone woke me up because I was in his bed, and it turned out there was an extra person in the room. There was no one at reception to solve the situation, so it turned into chaos — noise, lights, and a guest without a bed. The hostel staff never took responsibility, and the night I paid to sleep I couldn’t sleep at all.

Full reviewThe hostel's manager, scams backpackers by taking $50 AUD cash deposits and refusing refunds. I cut my 4-night stay to 1 night due to awful conditions: broken ACs, homeless people entering, and rummaged luggage. Staff promised a refund but later claimed they no longer handled cash, asking for bank details instead. Cody promised a bank transfer but never sent it. When I left Australia, he offered cash, then stopped responding. Avoid this place—it’s dishonest and unsafe.
